what the heck is this thing??
1:43 sec into the film you can see an odd lookign submarine flying the german engsign...what is it? ive never seen that kind of boat in WWII before!

Im clueless as well, At first i thought it was a custom type VII at 1:42 it looks like the type VII tower with a sheild welded on but after I noticed the sides of the boat Im at a loss. I thought it could be Italian but after further reveiw its definatly German in desighn |

What hats are the crew wearing aboard the sub at 1:37? I see red bands going in the center, around the hat. Like a soviet hat, you know those dark blue officer caps with the red band going around.
