Has anyone heard from Balz?
BDU received this message and has not had further contact with U-52
To BDU From U-52 16 June 1940 Suffered severe damage, flooding in all compartments. Will attempt to reach a French Atlantic Port. Tell Army to hurry up and liberate one. Balz
