Default THE way to play SHIII!

The missus and kids are away and It's time for Tarjak to play!

I borrowed a multimedia projector for the weekend and this is how my dining room is rigged for battle:

The screen is the dining room wall and the display is a whopping 2.5m running at 1920 x 1080 screen resolution! (Note the door to the right of the screen is 2.1m

I'm thinking I've gotta get a projector for keeps now. Then I can just take screen shots with my camera :

Anyway I'm off to sink some!

GR, if you get the chance do it. I was up till about 2am last night totally immersed! One problem. I didn't get a single sodding contact except for planes (March 1943) and I had to keep diving from them. Still much fun was had by me anyhow.

GWX on DLP!!! OMG!!! I'm SOOOOOOO jealous!!!!

I wish I had a DLP projector... but the short life of DLP lamps and overall high cost... is a bit prohibitive for me tiny pocketbook lol.

You lucky bastidges!!! Thanks alot... I have to mop the drool off of me keyboard now.

Well, I have two of them, an old LCD projector, and a DLP on the ceiling for those movies.

The problem is that I cannot reach it with a cable to get connected, but I can use my laptop to get a signal to it, (signal supplied via VCR) but that thing has a very good video card, but just 1.8 mhz CPU, and is too slow.

The old LCD projector, well never tried with SH3, but with FS2004 I did once, and found the resulution too low to be worthy.

DLP is very good, even sharper then my TV, but having a connection problem with it.

THE most biggest prolem of all is the wife. Since we use the projector for DVD's only I never can use it when she either is looking to a DVD movie, or just watching the old TV.

Dillemma's!

And I dont want to physically setup and move my PC and stack it up something to reach the projector with a cable..

So, final verdict: have the hardware, but still unable! :rotfl:
