I believe the only solution to the crash dive of doom bug is to not save while submerged. I'm not sure if this is related to SH3Weather, pretty sure it can occur without this program.

Firstly make sure you are running the latest SH3Weather (v1.5) and then read through http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=103202 for more information.

I have SH3Weather 1.5 and SH3Comm 2.6. They works very nice together. I read the link that you paste many times but there is no solution for this bug.

I take a look at this zero-problem with WindSpeed key. I think I write a little app that fix this problem in .mis files after Sh3Weather changes this files. (I'm to lazy to do it manually (via notepad for example)).

I think that you shouldn't use SH3Weather. Try to realize this http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=96710 idea to achive randomly generated weather. I try it and it works fine.

Is there still a need for SH3Weather with GWX? I'm using 1.02, and the weather patterns are better now, i.e. no more continuous storms from start of patrol to finish. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
