Goering , damn you to hell!

Ok this one was a really weird experience... it had to happen the first time I actually had some German air support.

I intercepted a convoy, and took out the escort DD with little difficulty...then I blew off a C3's propellor.

No danger anymore...so I surfaced... and my WO reported aircraft...fortunately friendly. Now, this may be well called madness...but i decided to do a victory loop around the static C3 at close range (10m)... (surfaced of course) , just as I finished the loop....BOOM! Half of the deck crew got pwned...and the C3 was on fire.

It wasn't a collision...but I had no idea Luftwaffe pilots had such bad aim ... anyone else experienced this scenario? Playin GWX btw.

AFAIK, the flying debris from ship damages your sub. So it might have been that there was an explosion on the C3 and you were hit by the debris.

Yes, stay well clear of ships being under attack from Luftwaffe. Especially if they are JU88´s. I had one dropping bombs on my pos. in The Channel, they were attacking an Armed Trawler and missed with at least 100m. Luckily we were at some 20m depth so no damage.

This was in TGW 1.1.

Well I have to congratulate the Luftwaffe. After approaching the northern bit of Scapa I was detected by a DD who no matter how I tried could not get rid of. Then a couple of Heinkels attacked the DD and blew off the two DC guys which then gave me some breathing space to fire off a torp and sink the bugger.
Three cheers for the Luftwaffe (and GWX).
