well, 'just installed a brand new ht omega striker 7.1...
it produces some pretty amazing sound, but unfortunately the new hardware doesn't resolve the sound.act ctd issue...
'guess it's time to reinstall and diagnose along the way, though i think i'll hold off on doing so until the new rfb is released.
