SH5 Mods recommendations?
 

Hello everybody!

I enjoyed playing all parts of SH1 to 4 and just purchased SH5 (yes I know, the reviews are terrible, but fortunately I know about subsim.com and the great modders here :up: )

So, I wanted to ask you folks about your favorite Mods.
What mod does make SH5 playable and at least ENJOYABLE for you?
What are your recommendations? What are your "must haves"?

IRAI is a must,

As well as Multiple UIs

and TDWs Hardcode fixes for the .Exe for sure.

All of them are by TDW.


For environment, either Dynamic Environment or Real Environment, pick and choose based on preference.

Im not too sure on sound mods or others, but those 4/5 are my essentials.

Enjoy SH5. With mods it is truely what it should have been out of the box. Just make sure your computer is up to the task.... but the installation will tell you that. And make sure you use the DVD version. Not a Steam download as some mods will not work with it. But you'll read about that in the link above. ;)

I'd say OH II, Dynamic Environment, Ui-Boat, Nozaurio's Skin and MightyFine Crew Mod are all top notch. But then, it's really hard to make a list, 'cause you always end up leaving a lot of good ones out. :sunny:

Today my copy of SH5 arrived :)
Of course I didn't buy the Steam-Version because I read about some mods/patches don't work with it.
It's installing right now from DVD :yeah:

I knew about this thread but I wanted to know about the personal favorites and opinions of the fellow subsimmers, that's why I started this thread :up:

Thanks for your replies so far... maybe some more subsimmers post their modsets and favs :)

sober's mod list is a must if you have a capable computer (unlike me) and perhaps you could check out my mods.
