It seems all download links for JSGME are dead. Are you people using something else, now? I can't seem to find an up-to-date guide on how to use mods for SH5.

THE_MASK 07-16-11 03:57 PM

just google jsgme and you will get the site where you can download .

Very helpful... my stupidity cannot be underestimated, the pretty pictures were essential for me :)

Is it normal that TDW's MO goes grey after application of the MO patch (in the list of active mods in JSGME)?

Greyed out mods in the list means a mod installed after that one is also modifying some of the same files, it prevents you from uninstalling stuff in the wrong order. Nothing to worry about :)

Thanks for all your help Orpheus :)

So true! And I'm one of them. Visually seeing how somethingis done helps the most. Sure I read the instruction but with the way TDW's UI's are installed... seeing Sh5 mod intalls are different than SH3... A visual guide for how, where things go, and what do do helps so much more if you can actually see the process. Up to now I've been completely lost on installing TDW's mods. Now it's quite a bit easier after seeing Stoianm's YouTube tutorial. :yeah:

My thanks to him. :salute:

Take a look at these topics:

Basically: copy JSGME.exe to your SH5 install dir. Run it, accept the proposal to create a new dir, close JSGME.

Copy unpacked mods to your SH5\MODS dir, and run JSGME again. It will now show you your mods. Click on them and click on the arrow pointing towards the currently empty list. If you follow someones list, ignore messages about stuff being overwritten.

Start game.

For more detail, check the links and feel free to ask again :D
