Hello everybody,

This is my first post on this website.
I noticed that big batlleships don't have their guns turrets' skins.

For information I installed SH3 GW UA1.14.

I launched the Bismarck and Narvick missions (where you can see big battleships quickly)

I see that as well and I think anyone who uses GW will see that.I think it is from Juju's MilitaryMod series.Most likely the Guns'n'Stuff part of the mod.His mods are the only time I have ever seen that.I believe that is the texture from his mod I mentioned.

I agree though that they look terrible and out of place on the ships.Those really do need to be redone to match more with the ship skins.

IIRC there is a mod which adds textures and coloured turrets
Pretty sure its over at Uboat.realsimulation tho:nope:

Yes I have to say it doesnt work Serg :nope:

All the turrets on the ships listed were standard off colour ones as in the pic in the first post

Have you tried to change textures for those turrets? They all have the default texture but people can change it for every turret independently. The idea of the mod to provide this flexibility, not the specific textures.
Import textures you like and have say green color for Hood and blue for Bismarck, etc.

:hmm: doesnt say that in the readme
So I will need to extract all the .tga rework them then import again ?

I got a CTD and or missing Guns Serg, dunno why because I looked into what you had done and could see nothing amiss. Never did work out why either. I uninstalled it after nealy a week of trying to see what the hell I was doing wrong. It just may not have like some of the other bits I have done to my game.

Correct.

The mod readme clearly states that every turret gets its own texture plate. If one understands this fact then it is natural: if one wants some turret look differently, one needs to change the corresponding texture plate.

Sounds like you could have an digital ID collision problem. I am not sure if Pack3D can clone the guns.dat file. Did you use turrets for some new units?

Now we have a Blucher and Eugen they can be different from Hipper ?

If they use the same turrets as Hipper, they can't.

Thats what I thought as well Serg, I have fiddeled rather heavily with my Guns in general so...... yeah most likely cause.
