Excellent. I'd love to do combined ops with this ship.

But I don't know, it looks like these British sailors need some training. Third picture down looks like a friendly fire incident on a US Navy Frigate. :nope: Or was that a Rescue operation? :hmm: :D

The model is very beautiful. I like that but the flag could be put away. It doesn't look very professional.

On the contrary that is realistic.

There is a photo of a Type-23 with a Jack of the Union on the roof.

Nice work again Xabbarus. Your skills have come along really well from the days of SC. :yep:

And Tlam, nice paint job there.

Xabba I'm going to send you a real quick update on the paint. I forgot to paint part of the Harpoon launchers (the angled thing). I'll get that to you ASAP.

Not trying to be rude. But the skin so much "shinny'er" with less detail than the original.

Not trying to be rude. But the skin so much "shinny'er" with less detail than the original. About 1/3rd of the original’s detail is stuff that is now part of the 3d model. As for the Shininess making it look weathered was beyond the scope of my skills and the time allotted.

Its a good skin. Looking at it more closely... its the lack of skin detail forward of the gun that most noticeable. I think that if you look at the pic, the gun is preceded by a triangular wedge and jutting pylons on the forward most hull, as well as some darkened deck areas. Original skinning puts some details in the forward most bow to simulate the pylons, rope ties, etc. Perhaps messing around with some of the the forward most skinning would improve the outcome.

That's really the most noticeable thing that catches the eye. As far as shinyness.... perhaps just make the entire skin one or two shades darker would help.... see how much more grey the OHP is compared to the Duke. A couple of shades darker could be all it needs to be consistent with the other models.

Very nice, Xabba and TLAM. Thank you for all of your efforts.

The shinyness of the skin is due to how I set up the map according to SCS instructions. Need to work on that a bit.

Some stuff I didn't model. To do with poly constraints.

It would be cool if TLAM could weather it. I kinda pushed him a bit as I hope to get a pack together by the end of the weekend. I am sorting things out so everyone can enjoy it and some others.

Xabba in the interest of keeping everything reasonably sane for MP, we ought to integrate the LWAMI database with your models as an option for those who want it, similiar to what was done with the Finiteless Mod and the XMods release those many months ago. :)

Come on pretty please??? :yep: :yep: :yep:

Edit: I just replied to your PM. ;)

:shifty:

um.... no offense, but seperate would be nice too. That way people that want the models and not the mod or vice versa, can do so.

Well I can upload my databse which is stock DW with my models for those who want to play and don't use LWAMI.

Thinking about it though I'll need to wait until SCS release the patch which should be on 7 Feb when steam DW is available.

Can you guys hang on that long?

Means I can get some more stuff sorted out.

sure thing

question: is it possible to pick and choose which models are replaced?

Great idea to make available an all-complete package with the graphics update.
