To the guys who are using the excellent Seeadler could distortion fix mood: do you use tha standard SH3 moon file, or is there a hi-res moon mod that is working with the Seeadler mod?

We are deciding on that one... in the meantime you can use whichever moon mod you like... just pop it into your tnormal/txt folder... or if it is JGSME format you can enable it using the Mod enabler...

Happy Hunting!

The main problem, if i am not wrong is, after install the visibility mod, the moon become a little bit small.

If i not remember bad, the moon was biger before install the visibility mod.

It looks too small for me, like a "big star" :hmm:

In the Atmosphere Mod this is compensated with a bigger moon.obj.

To include it in other 16/18km vis mods, just extract the moon.obj from the Atmosphere Mod and import it in the other scene.dat's

Depending on what visibility mod you use, you can have 4 different diameter moons from 1/8", 2/8", 3/8" or 4/8" (original SH3 moon). I am using the 2/8" diameter moon because it looks the closest to reality to me.

Thanks Panama Red, but the moon is into a 256x256 files and contain 16 moons into diferent fases of it.

If i enlarge the file, i need to give the game new coordinates to pick up each one of the new 16 little squares, on their new size ......

I am wrong ?

Hello Seeadler
How do you extract this .obj file. What kind of tool are you using?

That moon is nice, but you still need this "moon fix" to have it in normal size if you use visibility mod or environmental mod.
