This adds the missing Steinbarsch Walter Torpedo Icon to the Base and Sub Loadout Screens.

It also contains torpedo skins that are easier to identify the type of torpedo when fired (suited for those who play online and wish to know who fired what).

To use the Steinbarsch Walter Torpedo for OFFLINE use only edit your topedo loadout on the sub of your choice in the basic.cfg, ie :

Update :

To get the information on the T VII (G7ut) to show up in game on the "I" key torpedo load out screen goto your *\SilenthunterIII\Data\Menu folder and open the en_menu.txt file with notepad and look for this line:

631=T XI (G7es) Zaunkönig II||Propulsion: electric|Speed: 24knots|Range: 5,7km|Guidance: passive acoustic homing|Notes: A modified T5, less affected by Foxer. Never used in battle conditions, although late test results were promising.

Hit enter at the end of "promising." and in the new line add the text below, copy paste:

632=T VII (G7ut) Steinbarsch Walter ||Propulsion: electric|Speed: 45knots|Range: 8km|Guidance: none|Notes: A modified T3 with a better battery and faster motor.

Save file.

Now to get the Torpedo at the Base go back to *\SilenthunterIII\Data\CFG\ and open ur Basic.cfg file. Look for these lines:

[TORPEDO_TYPE9];T XI (G7es) – Zaunkönig II
Idx=9
Year=1944
Month=7
PrototypeYear=1943
PrototypeMonth=11
Renown=1000

At the end of "1000" hit enter TWICE.

at the new line add these lines to the Basic.cfg file. Copy paste.

[TORPEDO_TYPE10];TVII (G7ut) – Steinbarsch Walter

Save file.

You have now just added 1 more Torpedo to the Base Armoury, well done :)

thanks for this gibs :) i wondered why i could buy a torpedo but nothing showed up in my torpedo selection screen... downloading now :D

Nice job there Gibs! I always hated those blank spots. Thanks mate! :up: I'm glad that somebody finally figured that one out.

Yep, it was because of that issue in ur screen shot that drove me to fix this bug. It also allows us to now use 1 more Torpedo in our loadout, a nice 45knt Electric Torp.

The new T1 in my view ! :D

PS: The skins I have included you dont have to use, but the Loadout tgs (TMSTor00 & TMSTor001) you do. plus the TVII_G7ut.tga skin also.

Another great mod that slipped through the cracks. I never seen this one. I am surprised it could be enabled that easy via the CFG.
