Attention:
This is not a Mod for Silent Hunter itself,it was especially created for encrypt & decrypt messages.
I know, that SkyBaron made a Enigma Code Machine for SH5.It's to bad that we have not one for Silent Hunter 3.
After a few years, I had once again wanted to deal with the Enigma key machine, as used by the Germans in the Second World War, to decrypt encrypted messages, which can also be found on some websites.
So I created so-called Enigma Tagesschlüssel (machine key) for the time from September 1939 to May 1945.
To use the code sheets, of course you need an Enigma Simulator or an Enigma Online Simulator, which is called by Webbrowser.
If you want to install a simulator for Windows, download it here.
http://users.telenet.be/d.rijmenants/EnigmaSim.zip
In the Installation Folder on your PC,you will find a Text Document,if you have Problems with Win8 OS and a PDF Document, that describes, how the Simulator works.
With this simulator is also included a codebook tool, with which one can create code sheets. With this codebook tool I have created my code sheets.
This simulator for Windows PC can not only decrypt messages, but also encrypt a plaintext.
If you prefer to use an online Enigma simulator, then I can recommend this to you here.

For this simulator the same applies as for the above.
Now you need my code sheets.

PS: For those who are not familiar with the Enigma, you can find in my download archive, a folder "Instructions for using the Enigma".
Here, text documents are given in German language, how to encrypt & decrypt, what the characteristic groups (Kenngruppen) mean, how a typical message head was built up then and which abbreviations the German Army and Navy used when encrypting messages.
Note:
My code sheets created by Codebook Tool are UNIQUE and can not be reproduced in this form.
So if you want to use my code sheets to send you encrypted messages,it is important that both SENDER and RECEIVERS have the same code sheets.
It is of no use if you let someone get an encrypted message, but the receiver does not know which basic setting in the enigma, the message has been encrypted and how to set the enigma.
Another note about Enigma for Windows PC:
This simulator has an auto-typing function, with this the Enigma can independently tap.
When you start the simulator, you see the front view with the wooden cover on it.
In the upper right corner there is a small brown square. If you now point the mouse pointer to this, an option menu opens.
Click here with the left mouse button on Auto-Typing, now a new window opens.
On the right side you see a kind of DIN A4 sheet, in this you can insert an encrypted message by copy and paste or enter a plain text for encryption.
At the bottom left you can set the speed of the Enigma.
If you click on the Start button on the right, the Enigma will start the typing for you.
If you need some exercise, for which I have here an encrypted message from me.
