KSD Commander (https://yadi.sk/d/c-yKyuGuyXUrg) is a program for viewing statistics, captains customization and writing patrol diaries. + it can randomize music on the gramophone and you can specify diapason of days between patrols.

This program successfully works from April 2015 in KSD (http://brat01.mybb.by/viewtopic.php?id=178)mod on SH-4. This weekend I modified the program to support SH-5 once tried The Wolves of Steel modpack. I am very impressed with how modders have transformed this game :up:

The program has 3 tabs:

Statistics

The program reads your saves and forms statistics. You can submit your statistics to the server, if desired. In this case, you will be able to compare your results with results of other players, as well as choose a photo for your captain, to write his biography and diaries.
You can select photos to your captains from 260 available. It's all photos of real U-Bootwaffe captains. And the photo that you choose for your captain will be not available to select by other players.
If you play dead is dead format, you can specify the date of the death of your captain. After that, his stats will not updated, even if you continue to play.

Bar


At the bar you can:
1) Listen to the music that is played in the same folder as the gramophone in the game.
2) Read the newspapers. The papers are published as the main events on the fronts and achieving players. If you are sinking this month more than others will certainly write about you. Do not leave without attention sinking enemy battleships or aircraft carriers.
3) To share practical advice to other players or to read their tips.

Installation

1) Download (https://yadi.sk/d/c-yKyuGuyXUrg) the archive.
2) Extract files to the root folder of the game.
3) Start KSDCommander.exe. Optionally create a shortcut on the desktop and in the future to run the game through this program. In this case, your statistics will be regularly updated on the server.


Security

1) This is the exe file. Any exe file could potentially be a virus or some other malicious program. Here above all a question of confidence to the author. Author in this case I do. And with all responsibility I declare that I am not ******* writing malware.
Many comrades (in the screenshot above shows) installed the program and published its statistics on the server. Monitors have not failed to explode, and the disk is not formatted )
2) The program does not delete or modify your saved. It only reads them.
3) To submit your statistics to the server requires registration and authorization. Registration is simple. You do not need any confirmation via Email and other garbage. Simply enter in the appropriate fields username (preferably nickname with a forum for awareness) and password of 4-20 characters. In no case do not use passwords that you use in other programs or websites.

Yes it should be compatible with any modpack on SH5. I play with TWoS too.

My Win 10 says it's malware too. I don't know why this happens. You can disable your firewall or antivirus for a minute to download and extract it.

This program was originally in the Russian language. And i know that English translation contains many mistakes, cause my English is ugly. All English strings are in Resources\en\Strings.po. It would be nice if somebody with good English checked the file and correct all mistakes in translation. After that i can include fixed file in archive and share it to everyone.

.po files easy to edit with free programms like Poedit (http://poedit.net/). But it can be edited even with notepad.

It would be great! Most of the text is the news. Perhaps it is not necessary to touch them now. The most important basic interface text. And it is not much.

I updated the app, cause I found a few new differences in the savefiles of SH5 from SH4. In particular, incorrectly considered tonnage.

You have fixed incorrect tonnage values? :hmm2: Overall tonnage values in SH5 savegame files are pretty messed up, they are doubled or something...

Do you login in upper right corner? Are there savefiles in Documents/SH5 folder?

I delete all records that were made up to the last update, cause incorrect tonnage. No one had not yet to make the diaries or other records. So we did not lose anything valuable. You just need to reconnect to the program and it will re-read your saves.

Hi Warham, I was thinking of a possible cool feature to be added to your program, though I am not sure that it would easy for you to implement it.

In short: if your application was ran in the background while the game is played, could it record player's position at regular time intervals? Something like 24 game-time hours should be okay. It would be fun seeing our own and other players' patrols plotted on a map :D

I do not know whether there is a save game information about the current location of the player. If there is then possible. But the location, in any case be updated only after the player will save game. What would I like to do in the near future is the visualization of awards and ranks. On the basis of KSDKommander I also developed program named IL2CareerGenerator for IL2 Battle for Stalingrad game. In this program camrade Ansirial made visualization of awards. And also i have psd file with Kriegsmarine uniform but its not finish yet.

In SH rewarding made very bad. The game rewarding captain by same medals after each patrol. And as far as I know modders cant do anything about it. So I want to make the system on which the program itself will provide rewards based on points of merits and tonnage.

Those awards that you see in the game and that will be in the program will be different. With this I can not do anything. But I will make the option "show those awards that gave the game" or "show those awards that gave program." Everyone chooses what he wants to see. But for me i want Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes mit Goldenem Eichenlaub, Schwertern und Brillanten :D

Hmm, I recently sank 30,000 tons on patrol, but KSDCommander hasn't updated with my score (I did click 'Update Statistics'). Is the tonnage only added when I return to base?

Yes. SH updates that part of save files which i can read only after return to base.

The 'edit' button is only accessible when you click on your captain in the 'top captains' column.

Not sure why this isn't working for you, Vecko. Have you tried deleting all your saves and starting a new career?

I tried everything, including full game installation, new campaign, router restart, new loginames/passwords, disabling firewall ect ect.

I'm probaly banned by server or something...

Please don't do this again if there are problems with the program in the future. I'm sorry that you spent so much time :oops: It's my bug.

The program was supposed to write what you already have an account under a different login. Instead, it makes visible that everything is good. I've fixed it on the server side. Just try again. You have registered under the login aaa. I changed it to vdr1981.

Good question, I was wondering the same.. . Some entries from CareerTrack.upc game save files in SH5 definitely do not work as they should. Captains rank is one of those entries. I'll check some other files inside gamesave folder to see is there maybe some other entries which you can read with KSD Commander....:hmmm:

It is clear that these entries are not shown in game...Instead, the game will read values from CareerTrack.upc file, which are broken and can not be updated...

You can also read player current location from CampaignMission.mis file. Tell me if you want to know more about this...

Is there any place in game interface where i can see current rank of my captain? I cant find it. Maybe in stock sh5 there was that place and there isnt that place only in NewUIs?

Or maybe in SH5 there isnt info of captains rank at all? If so i will add ranks in KSDCommander depending on merit points sinking tonnage and number of patrols.

In this file i see only parameters like CurrentExperience, Personality, Leadership etc. But in program i want to release captains rank like Oberleutnant zur see, Kapitanleutnant etc.

If the game does not have ranks for the captains. Well. I have information about the number of patrols, merit points and tonnage. And on the basis of these data, I can realistically increase the ranks.

I'm also creating small modification which will make visible only first medal of the same class, while other duplicates will be ignored, something like this...

Yes i can. I will remove duplicate awards.

But in game there isn't some awards and awards are given for some illogical principle. I want to make sure that the awards will be given to historical criteria. I will make option for it.

Yes i can. I will remove duplicate awards.

But in game there isn't some awards and awards are given for some illogical principle. I want to make sure that the awards will be given to historical criteria. I will make option for it.

Medal criteria in SH games are still a bit of mistery for me but I really doubt that there is too much logic and historical accuracy in it.
For example, I know for sure that in SH5 the game will give you IronCross2nd class for almost every patrol with more than 1000 merit/renown points, 2000 point or soo IC 1st class ect...Other available medals requires more of something but I'm still not sure what (tonnage , renown or maybe certain ship class :hmmm:)
All in all, if we ignore duplicated medals issue, medals system in SH5 could work more or less OK ...:hmmm:

Only one account per player available.

Select your captain in top list. Click Edit button. In showed dialog click delete button. But if your old captain still in your save files then he will add to program again. So delete your save files with old captain too.

Added visualization of ranks and awards from virpil Ansirial. Due to the fact that the game is very unrealistic distributes awards in the program settings appeared select "Show Awards" with two options:
1) According to historical criteria. In this case, the program itself after each patrol rewards the player if he has reached the required parameters. The only exception here Der Kriegsorden des Deutschen Kreuzes, because less accurate historical parameters for this award is not given and it somehow randomly. Because the game also seems to give the award at random, and then leave it as is.

I read realistic level from your savefile. Most likely that some options are not checked. Not 100% realism game shows as "Difficulty level - normal"

- I checked all options but still my displayed realism percentage is 70%?
Full 100% realism settings are reserved exclusively for Real Navigation Captains who do not use auto target recognition cheat (AKA "Wind & Smoke" addon).

I tried this but its the same, so all my mods are not the problem.

I know now whats the problem - in my opinion a bug. :-?

You can select "Realistic" at start screen, you can select "Realistic" in the bunker before starting a career but in KSD you will always see the option you selected at the beginning of the campaign when you choose the missions!

So after i also selected in mission screen "Realistic" its also visible in KSD. :smug:


By the way, thanks for the new features in KSD Warham. :up:

Warham, can you somehow put into use information about the number of used torpedoes per patrol? :hmm2:

How about adding some bonuses/penalties for captains who use/do not use real navigation, wind & smoke addon, external views, map contacts ect? Some of these information are contained in the save game folder...

Do you planing any additional cool feature?

You have to do that yourself. There are some files in Documents/SH5 you have to edit. I'll be able to use my computer in 49 minutes, so I'll give you the names of the files then :)

Also, I too change my VII C hull number to U-96, who wouldn't? :D

Okay excell, here's what you have to do. This only works while you're in the bunker.

Go to C:/Users/Your Username/My Documents/SH5/data/cfg/SaveGames.

Select the most recently modified folder.

Open ActiveUserPlayerUnits.upc with notepad.

Use Ctrl+F to find your currently assigned hull number (in your case U-29), and replace it with your desired number. Make sure you find all entries with your current number.

Warham, can you somehow put into use information about the number of used torpedoes per patrol? :hmm2:

How about adding some bonuses/penalties for captains who use/do not use real navigation, wind & smoke addon, external views, map contacts ect? Some of these information are contained in the save game folder...

Do you planing any additional cool feature?

You have to do that yourself. There are some files in Documents/SH5 you have to edit. I'll be able to use my computer in 49 minutes, so I'll give you the names of the files then :)Thanks for your help but in game my sub already own the number U-96. I changed that in the past but the values are not transferred to KSD!

Warham, maybe you also could change this in KSD?


Also, I too change my VII C hull number to U-96, who wouldn't? :DSure, go for it. U-96 got about 5 commanders in his service time.:salute:

You will not find info about the exact number of torpedoes used per patrol, but if you somehow "count" mentioned entries, you can reveal info how many fishes were used and even when...

Currently, KSDCommander reads our Difficulty level from CareerTrack.upc file , right?
The main problem with this system is that it is unreliable. For example...You can select realistic settings when you start new campaign, and then if you change your realism settings while in the bunker (uncheck no external views, no map contacts ect) , realism level in CareerTrack.upc file will still be shown as "realistic".
Inside every savegame folder there is a file called "GameplaySettings.cfg" with entries like these...

Torpedoes were very expensive and it provides an incentive to save them. What do you think about it? And maybe there is EntryTitle with something like defective torpedo?

I deleted died event from your Cpt.Kurtz for reason his stats updated with torpedoes count. I hope you have not deleted saves with Cpt.Kurtz. And add dead event again after next visit in program please.

You need to write your login and password in right upper corner. Then program will remember you with this login and password. Its like registration.

Stand by, I have to check something... It seems that when you shoot salvo , the game will count it as single "torpedo in the water" entry, which is not good...:hmmm:

Yes, on my last patrol for example I shoot 4+1 torpedoes into the convoy but there was only one "Torpedo in the water" event in that particular attack, probably because of fast shooting or something, but...

There were also 4 Torpedo missed and 1 Torpedo Impact! events which is exactly what happen...:yep:

I think that if you count all Torpedo Impact! and Torpedo missed you will get pretty much accurate info about spent torpedoes per patrol...:yep:
Even with this system some mistakes are possible but much less than with "torpedo in the water" events...
You can then compare this number with actual tonnage and draw some conclusions...KSDCommander can use this dependencies for penalties/awards determination or you can just display it as a additional info for other players, it's up to you...:yep:


Also note that Torpedo missed is not always a miss. If target is far away and torpedo eventually hit something after the game declares it as "missed" , you will get credits for kill but appropriate "torpedo impact" message will never be displayed...

I hope that my findings can help you a bit...

Warham, excellent news! I installed the new version mid-patrol, expecting the new features to start working when I got back to base, but they're working already! 1 torpedo fired, 84% realism - all present and correct!

Just look at it. So, sometimes in the water > impact + missed, but sometimes in the water < impact + missed :D

The best solution I can see to select the larger of these two values as torpedoes launched counter for statistics:
1) in the water
2) impact + missed

And show this info only for information. No penalties cause this info is not 100% accurate.

Just look at it. So, sometimes in the water > impact + missed, but sometimes in the water < impact + missed :D
Heh, exactly...Although "water < impact + missed" is more frequent from what I saw...

The best solution I can see to select the larger of these two values as torpedoes launched counter for statistics:
1) in the water
2) impact + missed
And show this info only for information. No penalties cause this info is not 100% accurate.
I absolutely agree on both, nice thinking. :up:

Looking at those messed up modlists visible trough your awesome app, made me to add this warning to all main TWoS related posts...

*DO NOT add any additional mods if you are not 100% sure what you are doing! Most of the standalone mods are incompatible with this expansion without certain manual tweaks.

However, I'm pretty much sure that this wont do much good either...It's amassing how people like to cram up more mods even if they dont have any idea what a hell they're doing...:)

It was good news.

Bad news. Everyone needs to update cause i had some problems with spain version of sh5. And we wait for gamers with french, italian, russian, etc. versions of the game :D In fact probably (or maybe :D) will be no problems with them, except counting torpedoes. But counting torpedoes is not reason to required update.

And question to everyone how do you feel about "Sunk tonnage - 1256571"? I am not so happy, cause its fantastic in cube. Maybe add filters on the level of realism and sunk tonnage :hmm2:

I have to agree on this...Crazy tonnage like these are commonly indication of a BUG called stock SH5 or at least lightly modded...:yep: Doesnt look "normal" , that's for sure...:doh:

He plays with TWoS :D But with 67% difficulty level and with Wind&Smoke. But i also can do this tonnage with save load every time i miss any torpedo. So only tonnage filter can fix this problem. For me more than 266629 is get out of my vision. But maybe anyone have better solution?

Its not cheat to play stock sh5 with save load. Everyone plays as he wants. My task is to divide players playing in the full real settings if they want to divide.

So i can add just filter with last patrol and also i can take into account installed mods. But I can also use permanent save load game progress to unrealistic tonnage.this problem is not solved anywhere :wah:

But i have big banhammer for real cheaters :arrgh!:

Warham, regarding Cpt.Serviolas's high tonnage...
I've check his log a bit and it seems that his bunker time skips are really low (5-6 days, should be 28 days with twos). Add to that arcade realism settings and the result is high tonnage score.

Anyway, no big deal in my opinion, the man is playing in his own style with most of the war days spent out at see and not in the bar with whores (450 days at sea until mid 1941-respect:))...:D

No no no. Ban is an extreme decision for only real cheaters.

Another update.

1) There was problem when someone deleted his captain also deleted captains messages in bar. So yersterday irretrievably deleted cpts Vecko's messages in the bar. I solved this issue.
2) Add filter for captains with 100% realism level. 100% realism = enabled all realism options in the game. And if you use TWoS modpack then you should use Real Navigation_by TheDarkWraith and not use Winds & Smoke addon.

Aaa, that was me...:) I was experimenting with campaign transfers, flotillas, deleting last gamesaves , ect...

Every time you click start game button in KSDCommander the program rewrite MinimumDaysInBaseGE param in \\Data\\Cfg\\UPC.cfg file. And you can set range of days in bunker. In this case program get random value
between min and max. For example i set days from 14 to 56 and program can get 14, 18, 25,31,46,56 etc. Rest days may be different in reality. Sometimes a couple of weeks and sometimes few months. And so I emulates this.

Commander works only from SH5 folder ) Of course I have ability to edit any txt like file of the game but I don't know many about moding and function of each file. Also I can format your disc C it's a exe file :D

I cannot believe that mod list.
Cannot be bothered to read TWOS post #1 and has treated the mega mod as a basic mod.

This is my personal modified SH5 based on OHII and recently TWOS. I'm using older version of TWOS because of my personal mods. Untill I installed TWOS my modlist was at least twice as long(JSGME makes wonders).I modify it because I want somehow to experience life on ww2 submarine most realistic way possible. It makes game as true to real ww2 submarine world as it can in today virtual time and space. My SH5 is very different from original thanks to modders and my changes.I mean in true and hardcore fashion.

I mod SH5 from the very beginning, when RL permits. I changed a lot,lot of things, not only from original game but also from other mods. I combine them, decombine and try to improve my experience on all aspects of the ww2 subsim. I like ww2 submarine history and admire all the heroism of all involved in conflict. Don't know why but inside of me there is some desire,like in any true subsimer I think,to relieve that time period today via virtual world.

I want as deep as historically accurate experience from playing the game.I have been playing subsims from the time of Wolfpack,Das Boot,Silent Service,... and of course SH serie.

BTW my game is very stable...Yes there are ocassional CTDs but in normal boundaries...(much less from when I changed to 64bit OS)

Hi Obi, you're my man, i would like more information about your setup cuz i have absolutely same taste to play totally immersive.

Especially: did you removed teleport function? What about bugs when you just hanged somewhere, behind attack periscope or so...

I would like to remove somehow initial position fix at map when you load your game save too...

No it isn't. I don't care if fix is shown at map or not.
I want to not have initial position knowledge at all after loading my save game.
But It seams real nav needs it...

I think your idea is cool Palmic, but beside Sober's solution there is nothing more that can be done in current state of the SH5 as regards of map position...

Those are cool screenshots Oby but at least 50% of your mods are already part of twos megamod (even of older versions) and yet, you still decide to add them from some reason. :03: I understand you wish the best of SH5 but my impression is that you wont go far with "monster" modlist like yours...:yep:

Maybe on the first look it seems so, but the game has no duplicate files-the files within modlist are just upgraded with different data which I like more than previos...The modlist begin with TWOS and every next mod has some data that changes original or previous mod or piece of it, or just the original game(JSGME)...:DIt is simple,I just play the game and whenever I see something that bothers me, I try to find a mod for it or mod it myself...And maybe that thing was already moded inside my modlist but I cant just deinstall the whoole modsoup because of one thing...I just make another mod, thats all...

It is possible only if i will add 8 photo of Kretschmer, cause when you use some photo for your captain then other players can't use it. So every captain in the program has it's individual photo.

Added historical aces. Threre are: Otto Kretschmer, Wolfgang Lüth, Erich Topp, Herbert Schulze, Heinrich Lehmann-Willenbrock, Karl-Friedrich Merten. The plans to increase this number to 15. Also add a filter "Aces". There to be only historical aces and your captain. Filter the information is possible as for the entire period of the war, and the current game date.

Otto Kretschmer was born in Heidau, Neisse. At the age of seventeen he spent eight months living in England at Exeter, where he learned to speak English fluently. He joined the Reichsmarine in April 1930, attaining the rank of Seekadett (naval cadet) after completing officer training courses as well as three months aboard the training ship Niobe (1 July 1930 – 9 October 1930). He then spent a little over a year serving aboard the light cruiser Emden (10 October 1930 – 4 January 1932). In the second half of 1932 he briefly served on the survey vessel Meteor for navigation training. In December 1934 he was transferred to another light cruiser, the Köln. Kretschmer remained aboard the Köln until he was transferred to the U-Boat force in January 1936, where he received extensive officer training and was promoted to Oberleutnant zur See. Kretschmer's first command was the U-35, a Type VIIA U-Boat, in 1937. This appointment coincided with Germany's involvement in the Spanish Civil War; the boat was ordered to patrol an area off the Spanish coast. It's relism :rock: you can't accelerate the repair and equipping your boat. As minimum you can set bunker time 7 to 28 days. And if you're lucky it will take 7 days.

This would be very cool IMO and all necessary data are already there, although displayed radio reports shouldn't be so "obvious" like in raw RadioMessagesSent.ini file.

Upon radioing in the task force I was informed that no other uboots were in range . 4 torps fired in a salvo...3 impacts...1 ship sunk . DDs were now engaging me with hundreds of depth charges . Radio damaged...hydrophone broken....all gauges not working(all needles pointing straight up).....after 10 hours of real time 1X game play at mostly flank speed at 100mts I finally broke away from the searching DDs . Epic .

Try running KSDcommander as administrator.
If this does not work download a replacement from Post #1
Extract the zip
Highlight file 1
Hold the shift key down.
Highlight file 3.
Copy and paste to your main SH5 folder and allow it to overwrite the existing files.
Change the KSDCommander application to run as administrator.
Start the application.

Yes it will. So you can launch sh5 as you want.

I bought a car. German of course :D And I very busy at work. So while I do not plan innovations. But watching the theme. If there are some problems here I'll try to solve them quickly :salute:

From the main game folder open > KSDCommander XMLDocument.
Open it with the notepad.
Look at the third line down and it should look like this:

You should now be able to change the details.
Go to > File.
Select > Save.

These are quite important because they control when will player actually get new sub offer ect.
1 rating point is earned by achieving 1000 renown points (merit, per single patrol) but also can be easily lost by "skinny" patrols with renown lower than 100.

I would like to remove somehow initial position fix at map when you load your game save too...

What if you change the color of the "C" navigation fix to clear. Then you can just have your navigator only plot his "D" fix when you want. He still takes the star shots and plots them...its just you cannot see them.

This only works if the "C" and "D" marks are seperate marks.

And the navigator still secretly knows exactly where he is at save game startup.

1. Before you save and shutdown the computer get a DR fix from your navigator.

both idea seems good, i already did it like in your second idea before, but still was looking for fix, than just workaround.

I see problem with yur first idea, when i plot position by myself its often drawn like celestial one, so this would be hidden too...

I inspected your save file. Hans Orf in KSDCommander and Hans Orf in your save file is 2 different careers. Just look at the 1st patrol.

So you should name each new captain with different name. Or you can delete your old Hans Orf and KSDCommander will add new Hans Orf to the captains list.

I made script to delete abandoned captains and it deleted about 140 captains both in SH4 and SH5. Criterias to delete are: 0 patrols, no biography, no diaries and captain was created more than 20 days ago.

According to my calculations Serviola's career affects the load time of the program as a 50 captains with 0 patrols :D

You should select your captain in the top list, not in list with your local captains. Select aces in the second combobox then you can easy find your captain.

if at the start of app was chosen Elite Flotilla. But if it was "all" and then you select "Elite flotilla" in newspapers were still "all".

Owners of the server are developers of IL2 BoS/BoM. It's a windows server.

Data transmited beetwen KSDCommander and KSDService by .NET service technology and then saves in Ms Sql Server. I send to the server .Net objects. It is very simple to me as a programmer. But it's a close structure not a files or JSON.

I see 2 possible reasons:
1) You didn't login in KSDCommander.
2) You play second career under the same captain name. In this situation program does not update the data not to remove information about the first career. But you can do it manually. Just delete your captain in the top list.

I have plans to increase loading time ten times for those who want in the program to see only their captain and aces. In this case, I do not need load the info about all the captains of all the players. But this takes time, now i havent it. I took additional work at home.

I would like to make SH5/KSDC compatible with our data here.

Therefore I would like to learn what is sent. That's why. So I ask again and change the word: Can you please help me and provide me with some example packets that are sent so I can take a look?
KSDC now sends something like 010100010101...010101000101. To read it you need to write an .exe or web .NET application. But in theory i can make a web page to which you can send request, something like http://ksdcommander.com/?captain_id=5 and it will give you for example JSON like

2 days ago i tryied KSD Commander. Absolutely loved it!!!
Yesterday i made a clean install of SH5 and TWOS. Deleted everything in the SH5 folder.
Today i can't remember the password i used. I tryed to recover the old KSDComander.xml i deleted, with some file recovery software to check the password, it wasn't possible.
KSD also doesn't let me create a new account.
Could you please help me? Reset me or something?

I love this add-on, but for some reason, it always shows the wrong U-boat number. All of the other data looks correct. I changed the number in OptionsFileViewer, and I check all of the files I can find and they all indicate U-17, but the KSD always shows U-34.

Oh well, a small issue, I'm sure I'm not doing something correct!

Change your U-boat number to U-34 in TDW's Options File Editor Viewer.

Find your captain in the upper list while logged in (not in local), then you should be able to edit picture, description, logs ect...

This is my personal modified SH5 based on OHII and recently TWOS. I'm using older version of TWOS because of my personal mods. Untill I installed TWOS my modlist was at least twice as long(JSGME makes wonders).I modify it because I want somehow to experience life on ww2 submarine most realistic way possible. It makes game as true to real ww2 submarine world as it can in today virtual time and space. My SH5 is very different from original thanks to modders and my changes.I mean in true and hardcore fashion.

I mod SH5 from the very beginning, when RL permits. I changed a lot,lot of things, not only from original game but also from other mods. I combine them, decombine and try to improve my experience on all aspects of the ww2 subsim. I like ww2 submarine history and admire all the heroism of all involved in conflict. Don't know why but inside of me there is some desire,like in any true subsimer I think,to relieve that time period today via virtual world.

I want as deep as historically accurate experience from playing the game.I have been playing subsims from the time of Wolfpack,Das Boot,Silent Service,... and of course SH serie.

For that I'm thankfull to UbiSoft and to ALL moders who make this possible...

BTW my game is very stable...Yes there are ocassional CTDs but in normal boundaries...(much less from when I changed to 64bit OS)

I'm not sure what do you assume by "real SH5 simulation" but the "modlist" can be seen on the very same page. I suggest you to check other posts as well. Good luck...

Is the mod for the Star Shells included in Wolves of Steel?

I play the target solution, with the telescope head cross I set the angle fixed with the manual the mast height and with the tangents the distance, because I know the torpedometer speed I can make a goal solution.
