There is nothing wrong having feelings for another man, not in a sexual way of course regarding myself. It was Cel that taught me it's OK to express feelings to all people, including those of the same sex. I thought you learned as much reading the manifesto under the sheets.

Let's go with a chest bump and a high five.
Or the hearty handshake and free arm hug. That way if there's any grab assing, I can break some hand bones.:03:
Did you ever actually read the manifesto?
It was like watching an episode of Pinky and the Brain. Full of take over the world plans.
The only thing Celeon taught me was when to ....RUN!
Armistead
02-11-13, 12:46 PM
I actually never read the manifesto, I only guessed by Cel's actions, some twisted commie plot.
Chest bumbs are for insecure men, unable to express their emotions openly. Maybe you're not able to express yourself with a loving manly bro hug without lusting over me?
A correct man hug.
Face each other keep at least 1ft seperation at the waist.
Lean forward, making chest to chest contact.
Wrap arms around shoulders, arms shouldn't go below waist.
Firmly pat with hands as you hug on the back.
Kiss on the cheek with closed mouth is optional.

Referring to the heart cochleae cordis. It is believed that the word "cockles" is a twisting of the word cochlea. Some think it refers to the shell fish. For our purposes, use your imagination.

Let me state, this isn't a romance, but a bromance. We as men must be able to let our feminine side show, but not to the point it compromises our masculinity. An unabashed show of affection for our fellow men through manly hugging is what the world needs. Refusing to do this only shows you're not secure in your sexuality.
Heck, call your best bud over, sit on the couch in manly embrace, grab a beer, watch the football game.
Anyway, good to see Warhawk is with me on this.:yeah:

Look, back in post 268 you were giving your friends instructions on how you want to be touched. We didn't mock you. In post 273 you advertised how you would like to cuddle and spend the day together. I won't admit anything other than I don't go to church. Organized religion is not a concept I subscribe to. I have nothing against it because it does serve a purpose to those in need of it. God's sanctuary resides within me and requires no brick or mortar or money. I follow his commandments as best I can up to and including keeping the sabbath days holy. Reserved for his honor and glory. That day falls from sun down on Friday to sun down on Saturday. Most of the organzed religions don't do this one simple thing. Men have polluted the day of worship to make it fit their calender and their secular needs. "Of the world" so to speak. Have you ever wondered why those of the Jewish faith go to synagogue on Saturday?
Because that is the seventh day. The day of rest.
But, don't get me wrong, I love my brothers but, I have no need to physically display it like the Sodomites.:hmph:

As men we kid each other about such things. There is nothing wrong with the occasonal bro hug to show our love, respect and admiration of each other. But, those of us that are flaming hetrosexual know where to draw the line in the sand, l'est we devolve into violence against our brethren for ill percieved intentions. I have no problem with the, let's just call them, eccentric male types( more than likely caused by some accident of biology moreso than wanton choices of odd lust) as long as they keep it to themselves. It's all good.
I have an eccentric cousin who today suffers the consequences of acting on those feelings and he is HIV positive. Probably from sharing needles more than sharing a bed with a same sex partner. Maybe both, I dunno and won't pry into his personal life. It's his life, his business and none of mine. He was raised by a step father who was married to his firebrand of a mother along with three sisters. They all love him and that's all that counts. So hug away fellas and be Fabulous if you're comfortable with it.
He and I didn't see eye to eye one summer day and we got into a fight. He slapped and I punched. By the third blow his flight instinct kicked in and he ran away crying as his mother blessed him down for not taking up for himself. She probably whipped him on top of the beating I gave him.:stare:

Actually if you read the whole thread (not mine but Neal's) you'll see the whole long story of how it came about. That one was in Houston because that's where Neal lives, and it just sort of organized itself. Not really - there was a lot of hard planning involved - but everybody talked about it before it happened. In 2009 there was one in Copenhagen, and in 2010 August had one at his place. Neal couldn't make it and neither could I, but it still happened.
If you want something where you are you'll have to start the ball rolling yourself. Outside of Houston Neal doesn't take a big part in the planning, as far as I know. That's your job. :sunny:

The only time I had a gay moment was walking out of divorce court many years ago. Luckily I recovered after I paid my, I mean her house off, but I understand why many don't.
I did have one weak moment when I went hunting with my best friend, but when I saw him laying there drunk asleep in camo underwear, Redman chew drippling down his cheek, I just couldn't. Maybe it was his hairy butt.

So, the wife goes with her son today to get his car inspected. It was possible that he would need new tires. They left in the early afternoon and got home around six. She comes in and tells me to go look in the driveway. As it turns out, he got the new tires and a new radiator cap.
The old radiator cap was jacked up and they shoved a new car under it.
She thought I would be angry about it. Not at all dear, I'm not making the payments.:D He traded in his 2009 two door Yaris for a 2013 four door Yaris. Not a bad thing. The 09 had that stupid cyclops instrument cluster situated in the middle of the dash. I hated that thing. The new one has the instruments behind the steering wheel where they belong.

I was given strong pain meds, but they made me constipated, so another med to counter that. The pain meds hyped me up, so I was given sleeping pills to help me sleep. The Doctor also figured since I was in pain, I was depressed, so was given meds for depression. The depression meds gave me dry mouth, so another med for that. All the meds combined gave me high blood pressure, so more meds for that. After a year of being on meds, my liver was showing damage, so more meds for that, but that caused sexual dysfunction, so I went on Viagra for that.
Amazing all the meds you need after major back surgery. Anyway, I gave them up, cept I hold on to the Viagra just in case....

I know how much you guys loves me dog as I do. With tears I wrote this poem a minute ago to share with you guys.
Ole Bear
Ole Bear is black and brown
he loves to bark an run around
He don't come when you call
just rolls over and licks his balls
We was chasn Bigfoot one cold day
Bear thought he wanted to play
Through the woods, hills and holler
but we got tired and couldn't foller.
One night an old owl flew down
picked ole Bear off the ground
Now Bear is scratchn his fleas
from the top of a big oak tree
Ohhh Bear, dog so true, betcha five dollars he's a goodn too

Very touching ode to a quadraped.:-?

I rather you take my wife.......
Never heard of a quadraped, is it a Moped with 4 wheels?
Funny, I took Bear for a walk last night after I wrote that. At night we walk on the field path beside the river. I saw him chasn a critter, in the moonlight it looked like a skunk. Well, skunks don't move fast and Bear just interested in anything that runs from him, so he was nipping on it's rear. They both vanished in the woods, I of course stepped way back. I yelled for him to come, he wouldn't. Then the smell....Bear finally came running. Skunk got him good...
Course I put him in the basement, but started smelling the entire house up, so wife took him to her shop and dunked him.
Worse, he loves snakes, been bit several times. If he catches one, he'll bring em in the house. They don't seem to bother him much anymore, but my wife keeps the dog door locked all spring and summer.
Oh yea, lard, river birch bark and potato grease will pull snake poisn rite out...try it

You can keep my pick up as well, just get movn...I'll have the rest of her junk packed and hire a movn company, prolly take 3 trucks for her closet. I agree, my dog always barks for a reason and he has several barks, so I fairly much know what he wants. He doesn't bark just to bark. My wife, she usually nags for no reason just to nag. The question is how do you deal with the nagging? My wife mutters, just loud enough for me to hear it, but pretends she doesn't want me to hear it...I pretend I don't hear it, so she'll keep it up wanting a response. I'll eventually ask her, " Did you say something to me, I can't hear you." Course, she'll think I did, but I'll never let her know...Heck, I've gotten so use to it, I now tune it out and don't hear it.....

My wife and I wrote our vows. Reading them now, I should have seen something was up. I think it was a sign the pastor was an hour late that I was doomed. Here we had the largest church in town, she had 500 friends/family on her side, my only friends were the best man and ushers, but luckily my family showed up, all 8 of them.
They finally found the pastor, he was cutting grass. He came running in wearing shorts, sweating, covered in grass clippings. He wiped his face and put on his robe. The organist was on her 20th song. We all hurried, got into position. The fun began when he said " we are gathered here today for the wedding of Donald and Sharon" The crowd laughed, I reminded him that we were Marty and Laurie. Worse, he called my wife to be Sharon a few times.
Still today my wife and I cut up over it, calling each other Donald and Sharon.
