It stands to reason that his old e-mail has been discontinued. Even if I had his addie he might not get the message.
There are still some bass ackward places in the Pocono mountains and he may not have access to an internet connection.
Or he tapped his funds dry with the move. Could be anything preventing him from contacting us.
Do you have any idea what his surname is? If so, maybe do a search of the PD files for retirees and then search phonebooks for where he moved to. I think online phonebooks are more up to date than the paper ones. You know the area he moved into Wolferz.

I only bust on you because I know you can take it.
I have to be careful what I say to Wolferz, because he has to have his wife read everything and explain it to him.
I would feel bad busting on fireftr18 after what I heard happened to him. Apparently the other day he took a Viagra without water and the pill got stuck in his throat. The poor guy had a stiff neck for three hours.

Hey Wernher,
Is your move completed for the most part?:woot:No, not quite yet. I'm still waiting for furniture deliveries. I came up to PA knowing that a delivery was coming in a couple of days. Then I got a call advising me that the furniture delivery date had to be pushed back due to an out of stock piece that they were waiting for from the manufacturer. In the meantime, I placed another furniture order with the same company and they called again to say that the delivery date was being pushed back again, and that they would call me to schedule the new date.
That was about 4 days ago. I still haven't received a call with the new schedule date, so I'll have to call them on Monday. I also still have paperwork to complete for my health benefits on retirement and I've been trying to contact my accountant to add an amendment to my tax returns. I think she was away on vacation so I'll have to call her again on Monday too.
I just finished repairing the vinyl fence in the backyard yesterday, looks just like new. Always something to do, always.

If you need a hand... I'm most always available.:)
Except right now, I'm back to full time nursing duties for wife 2.0.
She hurt her back taking the dog to the vet after the dog hurt her hind leg jumping off the back porch. The dog is doing better but the wife managed to pass out from the pain and did a tree fall into the floor breaking her jaw in three places and fracturing her pelvic ring. Got her jaw wired shut for her troubles.:nope: One would think it would be a blessing to have the spouses' mouth closed for a couple of months but that isn't the case. Preparing a liquid diet is a pain in the scones.:hmmm:
Women! I guess the wo part of that noun is correct.:haha:
Oh well, it's not as bad as the black ice incident of seven years ago where she did a low altitude sky dive in the parking lot at work, breaking two bones in her left arm and two bones in her left leg. The full cast on her leg made for some exciting days of potty chair assistance and the subsequent honey pot maintenance. It took four years to get her over that rough patch. And now I find myself doing it all over again.
Time to seek out wife 3.0? Donna? anybody?
Woe is me.:wah:
Note to self: Install fenced railing on back porch ASAP!

I'm hoping she's down to 100 pounds now. We've had her on a diet after she hurt herself jumping off the back porch. The leg has healed and she's losing the excess weight. The only snack she gets with her reduced rations is a quarter cup of frozen green beans twice a day and as many rabbits as she can catch in the back yard. She grabs one often or raids the nests for the little ones, which she swallows whole after getting a squeak or two out of them.
They're disappointing toys.

They're disappointing toys.:huh:Haah, my Akita did the same thing with a groundhog. I don't know how she caught it, but she grabbed it in her mouth (my wife was walking her) and got one squeak out if it before my wife yelled and the dog dropped it.
I got the Akita on a diet too. She was too heavy (76 pounds) at my last Vet visit. She's usually around 65 to 70, but fattened up too much this past winter.
Wolfgang is 85 pounds and I can't seem to get any more weight out of him, though he bounces off the walls (or yard fence if you choose) like he's got ADHD.
He burns more calories than any 3 people I know.
Wolferz
06-10-13, 06:21 AM
Wolfgang is still a pup and he probably won't gain any weight until he gets a little older and slower. Right now, he's burning off his daily dietary intake.
Our Biff wouldn't have gotten so heavy if we weren't all crippled up round hyere and could walk her calories off. I asked the wife what Biffs' weight was at the last vet visit. She said 115 pounds. That's a fat dog! She got so broad in the hind quarters that her back began flattening out to the point where I started calling her a German aircraft carrier shepherd.:haha:
I had an uncle who raised and ran Beagles. He was a dog whisperer. He used to say; "Do you know how to tell if you're overfeeding your dog?"
"Why, no Uncle Jonah. How can you tell?"
"The dog will have a big old saucer arsehole instead of a little pinched one.":rotfl2:
He would provide a visual by curling his index finger into the web of his thumb.
"But, Uncle Jonah, doesn't a big old saucer arsehole make it easier for them to say hello?":shifty:
