One of the (many) things I love about GWX (as I don't play the other supermods I'm afraid I can't comment on them :() is the radio messages that broadcast changes in (historical) standing orders.
Thing is, I don't actually have them written down, so one of two things happen:
I forget what's current, and/or,
Newer orders have been 'broadcast' while I've been in base, so I've never 'heard' them.
My modding skills have never been all that good, and due to RL circumstances are now irrevocably rusty, so there's no way I could figure this out, let alone implement it. But here is my idea:
Much like the recognition manual, have a "standing orders" book that appears when one is at the periscope and UZO station. When you 'pull the book' out and open it, you're able to see what the current standing orders for that time period are. For instance, pistol settings, prize rules, ROE, etc.
