:salute: Hi all



I will show you the progress, to rename the texture of the conning tower:

- So I began by replacing the names of textures with Notepad +

I backups,I import with the editor of TDW to settle the CRC error :03:
I created textures in bright colors using paint net and I create a template with alpha DXTBmp for not having the effect "mirror" and to put in evidence wholes uses textures location .
I called it, my period Harlequin : the proof ...

Okay, now I'm left with a bunch of "colored" textures, which will be only used in the conning tower, therefore, no duplicates in the rest of the submarine :03::rotfl2:

The thing i would like more to change is the color of the bulbs from white to red while in "red light". Never seen something more ridiculous White bulbs giving red light :o

For the lights in the submarine, there really is a problem :damn:,
already impossible to redo the texture: Bec_submarine :nope:

but you did not notice while playing, when you change course, the shadow rotates inside ! :o
as if they had used the sunlight, I tried to add some lights through goblin and S3D but nothing works other the meshes disappear :shifty:

I check the internal shadods of chair, tables, crew, while changing the course and I didnt notice any movement

You can change the reflection with. Sim, but not the source that illuminates !
with SteelViking for the interior Mod, I have already applied this method to reduce the reflection on the gauges

Little progress this week-end :zzz: !

I learned :know: to handle a little better, the software that I used such as Paint Net and editor TheDarkWraith (this is a factory this program :o ) and implemented a few "small" changes :|\\

You Can see the. Jpeg on colored backgrounds and UVWmap,which is very handy to know or is it, without opening the files

That make two days , I search in internet and i have found various very very good photos and textures .... :yep:

Hey BIGREG, i know that you´re the man of the needles but i´m sure that you can do this very easyly:

The flagstaff that I made for this mod also needs a light map added. As I'm not sure yet how to do this it would be great if someone can either show me how or fix it. You'll notice that the flagstaff is a very dull grey in color when rendered ingame compared to the rest of the Turm.

There's only way to fix the mast - the 3D model must be contained in a GR2 file. I'm slowly working towards that with the app :up:

I'm fine with the flag pole but I'd sure like to know how to get rid of that pirate flag since it shows on my boat too (see post #27 in this thread).

I've tried everything mentioned in TDW's Sub Flag read me and so far no luck. Unfortunately there are no MODs for virtual boxes of matches.

TDW described the method to remove the flags in his first post in the Sub Flags thread

Set the start date (Flag 1 or Flag 2) = End date -1

Why don't you replace it with another flag? You could even make your own flag :yep:

Thanks for the attempt to help. I reread TDW's Sub flag read me and then double checked that all my settings were as he had recommended......they were, but the goofy pirate flag was still there.

Just on a hunch I removed from my MOD list two "flag" MODS, "accurate flags" and "flags", and that did the trick. The pirate flag was gone.

The fish flag is a "keeper"! I'll save it for that special occasion.
