dunno why, but granting that pedrobras is not disposed to keep on personally his good work, the first thought that came to my mind after reading Trevally's proposal was a Russian name... "Volodya" to be precise :D

In my opinion your untiring helpfulness, your innate sense of humor and your unpaired modesty would have been 3 excellent reasons per se.

In addition, there are rumors about a possible linkage between Russian mafia and subsim that might have contributed to your nomination... world has not been the same since the fall of the Berlin wall :O: :haha:

As for MMM, than there is a problem still existing with this mod: 'Harbor addition' + mtns + OHII that are included in it are not compatible with TDW's "Sub_Exaust" and "Sub_Flags" mods that are very popular among the community (not sure but "TDW AI Sub Crew" may also cause some troubles with MMM combination). Uekel in his megamod "Sleightfahrt" have managed to implement them, and Pedrobas couldn't do this hoping that TDW will help but TheDarkWraith was hectic at that moment.
So I think for the new 'master' of MMM colaboration with Uekel, TDW should be very helpfull..... but if I'm not mistaken both of them are not on the air for a long time:yep:

ah yes, our frien stoianm, poor guy. He was catching a cold there in the chilly climate of Canada, but I sent another good friend of ours to take care of him, and now he's recovering in his new concrete wintercoat :cool: :D

Yes, You are right, those mods were in MMM v.0.2 that I've tried to use. And because of those problems I've mentioned before Pedrobas gave up his attempts to include them in later versions, and I've lost any interrest to MMM after that. Sorry, something wrong with my memory:/\\!!:/\\!!

Then there are no any problems with MMM v.0.5 at all, because all the shared mods are compatible in a standalone version I think.
I don't know if those mods were tuned somehow or the megamod was done by simple coppying the folders of separate mods one into enother acc. to the modlist order:hmmm:.

yes, you are right. I think one of the reasons that have been pointed out for their incompatibility is excessive memory usage, not a "simple" file conflict :-?

You are right Gap. I have long experimented with these mods and found only one reason -memory problems associated with its intensive and excessive usage..

I try so hard to make it work

When i install AIO i start new campaign and skip the tutorial

When i at the subpen i talk to the cheif ask for my mission i always get CTD

Even i end the game and load enter the base autosave I can't goanywhere sometime i got white background

Now i see the new ui thedarkwhart have update version how can i update it without cuase any problem with the whole package

Could anyone please upload part 3 of the MMM v.0.5 AIO to a different server than MediaFire, i.e. http://www.sendspace.com/ ? All the other parts of the MegaMod are still downloadable from MediaFire except this one.

I finally decided to give SH5 a chance (I'm an old veteran of the series from SH1) when I today bought my copy of the game for just 9$ :) Happy to see so many mods have been made since I visited the forums for the last time!

I've just downloaded all the otehr parts of MMM from mediafire, and this is the only parf of MMM I'm lacking now. It has been made undownloadable by mediafire.

I'm screwed too, just found out about this mod and was hoping to try it out, then shut down with this media fire crap.

Can some body please host this mod somewhere else ?

Having an all in one Mega mod is really helpful for people getting back into SH5 and not wanting to track down 50 different mods.

I had to take IRAI_0_0_0_37 out as I was getting random CTD, I'm still not sure if that has totally cured it, or wether if indeed it was to blame at all, very frustrating :nope: Hard to track the problem down when you have to over write MMM mods with newer versions :dead:

Anyway, if you are working on an update to the MMM mod would it be possible to include some other recent mods in it too? I added my soup to give you a bit of an idea,

I'm happy with the soup at the moment if only it was a bit more stable...this list has a deffinite Das Boot feel about it :up:

Been away a longish while from SH5, but skimming through the forum, there seems a lot of mod development having been going on, so I'm pondering to reinstall SH5 and possibly polish it up beyond spring 2012 status, when I was "washed overboard".:lost:
Can you tell me what is the difference between MMM 0.5 and 0.6?

I just checked my SH5 Mod archive and found that I have the full MMM v0.5 AIO in one 1.76 GB folder, which I just zipped down to one 7z-file of a mere 521 MB. If there still is interest, I might upload it to one of those mentioned places for others to download. It really is the original 0.5 AIO with everything in it as originally distributed by Pedrobas. :yeah:

Update:
I'm actually uploading MMM v0.5 AIO.7z (one file 521 MB) right now to GameFront. Will post the link when ready.

Sober's mega mod: Is that really an AIO pack, which I understand per definition to be a single d/l file? I thought it is rather a mod list with d/l links to all the individual mods and detailed instructions how to install them. :hmm2:

was running stable then for no apparent reason started CTD. It even CTD in the bunker now when starting a new campaign (using the silentotto option). It was running rock solid stable for around a couple of days, probably around 4 hrs playing time.

Any ideas on the culprit?

Fair enough, Volodya.:up: Looking at the Russian site I see reference to TDW's UI 7.20 beta, so my assumption was obviously wrong.:oops: I had based my earlier assumption on uekel's Schleichfahrt info, that did show some TDW's mods but not TDW's UI. My bad.:oops: Anyway, over in the German forums, it seems that uekel is MIA, since there has been no sign of him for several months.:hmm2:

But - as the info on the 'Schleichfahrt' mod includes the 'CSPMagui by DrJones Beta v 2.0' - does anyone know if it's possible to replace the 'CSPMagui by DrJones Beta v 2.0' with the latest released 'CSP Magui Interface v 3.0'?

I ask this because I have asked Uekel in a PM but so far haven't got an answer - I simply can't find out how the Schleichfahrt is built and consequently don't know if this will work properly.
What we can see by just looking at the both CSP versions is that there are certain differences but are these differences compatible with the way the 'Schleichfahrt' was built?

Hello. I just started playing this yesterday. I downloaded the all in one mod and enabled it just as instructed on a brand new installation. When I start the game, it skips the into as it should with the mod and goes right to the load screen. After that, the music comes on but keeps repeating the same notes and the screen never comes up. I've tried everything I can think of. I have the game installed on the C:/ubisoft. Does anyone have an idea what I can do? Thank you!

Nope......sounds just like the "Das Boot" engine room on my install.

Have you put any other mods in there after the MMM AIO mod?

I loaded "NewUIs_TDC_6_9_0_Real_Navigation" at the end of the list and like it a lot, however I've noticed the sea state does not change with given wind speed, its flat calm all the time. As soon as the mod was de-activated my watch crew got wet :hmmm: waves everywhere.

Anyone any idea why real nav would break the weather engine??

And could any of you show me, how can I volume up the diesel sound, please. It is very quite after MMMv05 install.
Additional issue has been discovered by me: all engine sounds of all ships are very quite. Even when the warship is passing me above I cannot hear its engine.

What could be the issue ?

About the diesel there is Stormy's mod for louder engine sounds, check it out. it only changes sounds as I remember so no harm may be done.:salute:

Why no?. you can use it.. but you should choose what you want to use: this mega-mod or interface mod - NewUIs 7.4.2 by TDW.. NewUIs (old version) is already included in this mod..

because making such a mega-mod is very hard. That is why Rongel doing it in the way HE wants to, not in the way people want to.

Plus, the mods are constantly evolving. The keep-up-with-development is nearly impossible. Most of the time that is what killed the mods like MMM.

same here. the mod list is just too overwhelming now and this mega mod is the only thing keeping me attempting to play this game now. I wish there were more that were being updated. I don't know how anyone has the time and patience to go through over 50-100 single mods and figure out how to install them so they all work together.

Yes, you must learn to do real nav, not that hard with plenty of tutorials around.

Besides, learning nav means learning and playing the GAME instead of fighting the MOD soup...

New to the game and forum. I have some questions.

1. Are the patches for Hydrophones and the 4GB switch really needed?

My hard drive recently died and I had the 3 backup files that Pedrobas had

to run his Mega Mod. I tried to download the files from the website that it directed me to but

The file mmm v0.5V AIO all in one, when I tried to unzip it. It said it had

corrupted data on it. I would appreciate it if some one has this file.

This was made originally for my own use but since, every day here, i can see the frustation of many new users or new backcomers (like it was my case) asking for help, i decided to share it with the only purpose of saving a lot of their time and effort looking for the mods here and at the same time to serve like a guide in case you want to build your own MegaMod. Also to have a new thread here where we can share our "findings" of what mod is better and why. So we all can learn a bit more every day. I´ll be happy if i get it.

This is a compilation of the most up to date mods you can find here in subsim. ALL CREDIT GOES TO THE AUTHORS OF THE MODS (all Readme are included so you can see who is the author). What i did was just spent hundreds of hours (like everybody else with SH5) "tunning" the mod soup.

MyMegaMod is made of seven parts. I decided this after check that this way is a lot more flexible in many ways, as you will see. Also is easier to update if some new mod apear or if there is an upgrade of an existing one. Besides that, each part would be independient from the others, this way you can install only the parts you want.

As TheDarkWraith said in his thread of "Magnum Opus" (which was my first inspiration):
"Realize that I have to edit some of these mods to make them compatible with the others. I also have edited some of them to my liking thus they may appear just slightly different from their stand-alone mod." So is not a matter of copy one mod after another to make a "one big mod".

That everyone has their own opinion, is correct... but... there is such a thing as showing some tact & taste in showing a bit of... tact in how that is expressed, in a... more, respectful attitude in expressing it.
