I am playing campaign in 1941 mare nostrum and two very unusual things just occurred-
1. I attacked a British task force south of Malta, reported the contact via the radio operator, sunk a dido light cruiser, and then dived.
I watched the battle above ensue with axis aircraft attacking the remaining British ships, when I noticed that some of them were Sunderlands with british markings! They show as the axis blue triangles on the map but were definately attacking, and being shot down by the destroyers.
Also, are the aircraft able to sink allied ships in this situation?, as all I could see was some bombing attempts, few bomb explosions even in the water, and axis aircraft shot down one after the other.
The aircraft attacking the ships were the Sunderlands, JU88's and an Arado.
2. Just after all this I got a ctd when asking the first officer to go to silent running.
