Hey guys- can anyone link a good 'beginners guide' to the game? something a little deeper than the vid tutorials, for example? Maybe a community manual?

Be aware though that some manuals may be out of date depending on what mods you may or may not be using.

I'm still a big fan of the TACMAN (linked above).
MolonLabe made a tutorial scenario with walkthrough on using passive sonar and TMA in one of the US subs. It should be somewhere among the scenarios on Subguru.com

Aside from the one mentioned in post #5 (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showpost.php?p=1610274&postcount=5), are there any tutorial missions to get started with?

There are some on youtube as i was viewing them recently thinking i may purchase since im tired of the silent hunter series... had janes, and subcommand back in the day... DW looks very similiar to sc
