Hi all

My home and end keys no longer turn the hydrophone dial. It was modded, but I don't know which mod did it.

I tried using the keyboard mapper application but it crashed when I tried to map a key to the keys.

Right now the keys raise and lower the periscopes, not exactly what I want to do when listening for enemy units!

I can edit my own commands.cfg file if I knew what key code they are.

I have not tried this in a while but did you
not need to mouse into the area (where the mouse wheel would work)
the use home and end keys

I just wish someone could fix the range to target button, you used to be able to 'ping' a contact in SH3 to find its range..dead handy for setting up manual TDC before surfacing for the kill!

Thank you, sir! That helped me hear a contact that my dumb sonar man didn't even report.

Maybe it's normal, but there is no voice comment even when he does have a contact ! I'm ready to feed him to the fish! :salute:

Except Type VII U-boats didn't have sonar (active).. only hydrophones...

seams that youre using Stormy`s DBSM :D... if you still want to use keys for rotating the hydrophone try using SHIFT+POS1 or SHIFT+END keys...

but i think i will change that in fix maybe, so SHIFT is used for the scopes then.

I agree. The main fighting functions should be first key, as we already had keys to raise and lower the scopes. The shift and ctrl should be just the extra things, but not main battle needs.
