Hi chaps,
I decided to release my work as a public beta, I will update as soon as I recieve Privateer's fantastic new MG34s but I thought you'd like something to try in the meantime and I will release a "Super Turms 4" only release (without the compatibility stuff) soon although all the Super Trums 4 stuff is include in the multi-mod compat fix download.
So here goes, here's the features of the new version and the combined mods from the previous version.The emphasis for this release is on the type 7c1 turm in particular.

Flakmonkey's Type 7 exterior lightmaps, Flakmonkey's Twisty persicopes with lightmap. Privateer's "Turm Emblems Your Way" with emblems by Tarjak and Pvt. Godfrey. Compatible with Anvart's Flag, Pennants and DF antenna mod. New Radio antenna raised and lowered with the SHIFT+A/CTRL+A commands. New objects on the bridge (all lightmapped). Testpilot's Lifebelt, UZO, DF Antenna and coiled ropes on the deck (all lightmapped). Tomi's flagpoles and 20cm ammo container (all light,mapped).

Replaced the card box and playing cards with the card game "Skat", if you don't want to use these delete the textures "cardbox.tga" and "cards.tga" in the mod's textures\TNormal\tex folder.

In the galley the cooking pot now steams away and (not shown) one of the taps drips.

New (lightmapped) officer "Johann the fantom" in the engine room with new dirty work clothes and oil can. New blue texture for engines, if this is not required delete the "ani_diffuse.tga" texture located in the mod's textures folder. Also in the engine room, two oil drips from the engine.

Incorporated Thomsen's Dials mod so that the depth dials in the CR and RR go beyond 260m and also did the one in the CT.

The UZO model now rotates 360 degrees to match the bearing in the "U" (UZO) view as shown inset.

All bridge objects and the UZO disappear under water and the radio antenna retracts on diving. The UZO will re-appear and return to it's previous bearing on surfacing

Edit also you have the wrong flags pennant mod, it should Anvart's release version, check the readme for the download link and make sure it is as it is now, before my mod. You also don't need the combined sh3.sdl as t's included in the mod.

Never min the last entry it is for devleopment testing, try installing Testpilot's new ub-boat guns, the links is in the readme for my mod, that might help the missing guns issue.

Hold up mate the _New is a version I renamed temporarily go for the one in the readme, i'll edit my post. If that doesn't solve it then it is probably a clash in ids.

That's not a 7c4 Turm!, the 7c4 vintage boats 1944 didn't have a deck gun. Are you enabling the 7c4 addon and then selecting a 7c1?, I'm confused the 7c4 add on is men at for use when you have a 7c4 boat eg. late in the war4. You shouldn't enable it when you use a 7c1 boat.
Anyway, judging by the gun o the crane they're about to fit it for you :)

Bloody marvellous mate I got my d/gun back, regarding the turm, it seems confusion reigns ! Please explain the turms and at what point in the war they should be enabled, sorry to be such a pleb :cry:
Also thanks for your mod list, I'm gonna be busy tracking them down and enabling this weekend, providing I can stop SH3 ctd'ing every time I take a s/shot and getting a blank canvas I'll post some piccies.

Glad it's sorted mate.
I'm not sure of the exact dates for the turms but the turms progress as the war goes on. To see each turm play a quick mission. Start in 1941 with a type 7c and you will see the 7c1. Then do the same in 1942, 43, 45, 45 etc and you will see the 7c2, 7c3 and 7c4 turms. Basically the Wintergarten gets bigger to accommodate more and heavier flak guns. They also removed the deck gun as the war went on. If you start a campaign in 1940/41 with a type 7c1 turm you will get the opportunity to upgrade the turm as it becomes historically availabe (subject to having enough renown to "buy" it. When in port enable the 7c2 add on or the 7c4 add on at the appropriate time.

I just installed FM's interior however I didn't see anything new here such as the bucket, steaming pot or extra crew members, but since this is a beta version that may explain it?:hmmm:
During the test I wasn't watching where I was going and hit the dock, this started some interior breaks with steam and burst water pipes that are not stock, towards the rear of the control room, can someone tell me whose mod this is part of please?:yep: Looks great!:up:
Edit: I will give up on FM's interior, it worked the first time but not any more, I keep getting Sh3.exe Error Modname: kernel.dll, in other words not enough memory, I can use either your mod (version 4 or 3) or FM's but not both together, I will have to wait till I eventually change to Win 7.

I believe you need Superturms for those extras that build upon FM's Interiors
Hi chaps,
The multi-mod fix mod includes the new stuff for the FM interiors, cooking pot steam, Johann, oil drips in the engine room etc. It also includes all the Super Turms 4 stuff, twisty peri, rotating UZO, new playing cards etc. etc.. The Super Turms 4 mod only includes the Turm stuff eg.not the new stuff for the FM Interiors mod.
You need Urfish's mod for the CR Smoke, sparks and CR water drips.
The multi-mod must be installed LAST, please see my mod install order earlier in this post. If you use the multi-mod fix mod you do not need the Super Turms mod.

Try using the 4GB Patch mate, it can be found here

Use it to patch your SH3.exe, just follow the instructions on the page.

sorry might be confusing---but my head spinning from jumping around in all the new threads with all the new advancements---
is this the main compatibility mod to install --or the other one v.13--or are they both needed depending on what one plans on using---i am probably just confused as been jumping around in a lot of different threads ---
apologize for spelling:
planning on getting in bbw locks/schues--hans animated subpens--aces pens--anvarts flags pennants--intergrated orders & anvarts ppatch for that, fm new interiors, lucas open hatch fix, lifebats v4 + the new wooden rafts--& a few small skins or something----
Do i need this as the fix last or the other fix on page thread----with these fixes--do i also need to install your shdl sound patch? ---or am i way off and hoplessly confused------sorry if this has been covered (possibly even in this thread) but just been reading too many threads

This is the latest multi-mod release version, you need not download the Super Turms v4 mod as all is included in multi-mod. The reason that I produced Super Turm only versions was for folks not wanting the compatability stuff.
You should install my multi-mod last, the supplied documentation lists the mods that it is intended to get working together as well as those that are required (must haves) for it to work, most, if not all, of which are on your "shopping list" and I run them all.
I will post my current JSGME-enabled mods list this evening and this should give you a good idea of the mod install order that I'm running.
You will not require the combined sh3.sdl mod as it is included in the multi-mod compatability mod.
I will be releasing a version on my "St. Nazaire Numbered Pens mod" soon (maybe even this evening :)) intended to work with the St. Nazaire Schleuses etc. mod so please keep this in mind and have a look at my sub-pens thread for more news.

You must have a faulty download as I just downloaded it and the folder isn't empty!!!

This is for the Type 7c1 Turm, if you use the 7c2 or 7c4 turms then you need to install the relevant file AFTER the above mod.
Please see the enclosed "Read Me" file that comes with the mod and please note the bit about requiring Anvart's mod as in the mod title.

I want to know the correct order of the mods for JSGME. I run Windows 7 Home Premium, SH3 plus GWX 3 Gold "pure" (no others submods).

:up: Many thanks! I use SH4 plus TMO 2 plus RSRDC plus Vickers' sub interior mods, at 60 FPS (sinchronized). I think my memory (4 GB) is OK for SH3 with this mods. In SH3, with GWX 3 only, I obtain 150+ FPS in external view, 80-90 FPS in interiors 3D, not sinchronized. Also my machine with FSX (a recognized high weight program) obtain 60 FPS sinchronized... I think is a problem with W7...:cry:

PS. I wont be working on a new version of that mod until another "must have" mod comes along that clashes with one of the mods supported by the mod. I shall work on my Super Pens mod a little more to iron out the issues with the WAC version and then I'll be working on the Super Turms mods, first, all being well, an LSHv5 version of Super Turms v4 and then I shall work on a new version (v5) for both GWX3 and LSHv5.

I try the mods plus the Thomsen Sound Pack, too. With this mod, the SH3 go to CTD. I put the Thomsen mod after the GWX Base, and before the series of mods plus compatibility mod. With this configuration, I obtain a CTD.
Is the Thomsen Sound mod compatible with the compatibility mod? If yes...can I put the mod after the compatibility, or before?

I have others questions, too. I want to know the compatibility with OLC GUI. The FM Interiors has a fix for that GUI, but I don´t know if it is compatible with the Aces´s compatibility mod, and the order of installation.

Hi, kaleuns! This is my list with JSGME, with Thomsen Sounds. In this order, all works fine, no CTD, and looks great. I make some test with the Thomsen sounds; in other positions I obtain CTDs; with the position of the list, works and very well. Basically, is the list of Aces, without some mods and with others; the MaGUI is excellent for me, and compatible with FM Interior. The Aces Compatibility Fix works perfect with all the mods. I add the Merchant Fleet mod, last lite version (in red), too.
I think there are some redundancy of mods, but with this list, the SH3 is-I think- superb.:woot::woot::woot:

for the first two.
The No medal is an additional mod supplied with Raptor's uniforms and the last mod is one that I adapted for myself from Vennatore's (sp.) elite Your U-boat Commanders uniform or suchlike mod., it just changes the hat of all officers (that's the way things work) to the white Kaleun's cap.
So you want Raptor and Vennatore for mods 3 and 4.

Unfortunately it is not easy to get it all to work as intended. Of course because of my clumsiness, the various required if/and/or mods which will or won't work with various multimods (thy Multimod compatability fix v1.5 in my attempt) almost requires a legal degree! Back to work...
