Yup,Very good last 4 what program do you use for Editing your shots, PSHOP or something else.I like the filter you use on old photos.I'm using PaintShopProX3 and A bundle of filters I use in it.Using Filters in layers can get you some great effects.:up:

I use a combination of Lightroom/Photoshop. Some of the master files have 10 layers or more. There are some plugins involved, but I tweak them manually quite a lot too because each subject needs specific touchups. And I use various free textures I find in the web.

What size is your Monitor as this is the size your picture is saved at in SH5,mine is 24" 1920x1080 pixels,Do you resize them in your graphics program,try reducing the size of your images as they are a little big and everyone has to scroll to the side to see your pictures hope this helps.I keep my pictures for Subsim at 1024 x 576.:up:

This is how it comes when you get a new boat, Emblems on the Side.By the way this is the Emblem I entered on the Emblem comp and it was accepted.I think (but not sure) there is a mod out that lets you place Emblems on the side Check the Mod section Use search "Emblems" that should find it for you.Cheers:up:

Good job Gunfighter! It's always a thorny problem: On the one hand some are offended because it was, indeed, the symbol of a horrific regime. Others are not because real u-boats and German aircraft carried the swastika, so to not have it in the game is a abberation of history.

Some, when told that someone finds a picture offensive, will start an argument to defend their actions, which usually ends up with name-calling and diatribe. You chose to not offend anyone, whether it was a multitude or only one person. The swastika doesn't bother me in the least, and for me adds to the flavor of the game, but I stand beside you in being willing to bow to the wishes of others in order to preserve peace.

First of all, thanks, and here you have the "secret method"....well, there´s no secret at all. :D
Usually, I take hundreds of "pics" on each mission. Then I choose 4 or five that I really like and that I think that can be tweaked in the way I want it to be.
Finally, it is a "try and discard" method. I mean, using Photoshop and Photoscape I try different things. Some of them work, and others don´t . Give it a try, I´m sure that you´ll find it easier than you think :up:
Btw, sorry about my english...not sure if I made myself clear :hmmm:

How come it's friendly? One can clearly see the Royal Italian flag (with the crown), which means Italy is already on the Allies side... :hmmm:

Well ! thanks for the info,In one of the historical missions you get to sail with an Italian task force and they are showing the Royal Flag so if your right the Dev's got it wrong again Maybe they had a sack full Flags one for sailing with the Germans and one for sailing with the Allies :rotfl2:Anyway thanks for the info it all started with a little joke between Otto and I. Because of the terrific graphics in this game, all screen shots are "realistic." Perhaps this thread should be renamed, or at the very least reconsidered, the Vintage Screen Shot thread. :hmmm:

Ah, good point. the use of the word "photo" does distinguish this thread from the stickied thread of screen shots and videos. Perhaps it is a bit too subtle for old gamers, like myself, that have been stuck inside a tin can for too long. :D

Probably I started this misunderstood posting some screenies that for me seemed quite real, in case that the photographer had a HD camera back in 1939 :D

The shot is edited, but just tweaking contrast, colours etc, the torpedo "splash" comes from Old style (I think :hmmm: )

Yes I know my updates and new versions are rather annoying at times. All I can say is I'm learning this new game just like everyone else (allbeit much faster than others though). I'd also rather have support than no support (ahem UBI).

If that red glow is supposed to be the sun, shouldn't the moon sliver have its horns facing the other way (i.e., away from the sun)?
