Are you ther Racerboy? Im trying the same thing how does that tweak file work?
If you do not want a flag and/or Halyard and/or pennant simply use TimeTraveller's Mini-Tweaker tool with my included tweak file to enable\disable the associated flag and/or Halyard and/or pennant. No TGAs are packed into the dat file for the flags, Halyard, or the pennants.
Using the Mini-Tweeker you simply use the number 0 to not display the associated flag or pennant, or 1 to display them. Be sure to also set the reflection file the same.

load up TimeTraveller's mini-tweaker tool. Open the tweak file I supplied and adjust the properties that you want to adjust. The mini-tweaker tool is easy to use.
Here's a link where someone shows you how to do it:

All set. Thank you very much. It was the tweaker that I was missing. I can change tonnage with the tweaker and tweak files too?

When using the mini mod tweaker, how do I change the tonnage on the pennants?

the tonnage on the pennants is done via a TGA. You can either edit the TGAs or use your own. I supplied a template TGA for the pennant flags in the mod (so you can create you own). The readme file tells you what you are looking for.

Apollo is going to help finish these as the time required to hex edit every freakin file for every version of the game takes WAY too much time.
I'm comtemplating writing a patcher application. This patcher application would just add the required hex code of whatever mod of mine you're wanting to your existing files. This way it wouldn't matter what version of the game you're using (WAC, GWX, etc.). Who'd be interested in trying it out if I made it? I would make it backup your existing files that it would edit so you can revert back to the unmodified ones if you wanted to......or have it automatically create a folder in MODS (for those using JSGME) and dump the modified files into it...:hmmm:
