Handing Out Medals

I've always had a problem when it came time to either hand out medals, or promote my crew. I would hi-lite a crewmember, and drag the promotion/medal over the crewman, but it would never stick! Sometimes after several tries, the crewman next to the one I hi-lite ends up receiving the award.

I know there must be some criteria that must be met to allow a promotion, but at least in SH3 you would receive a message letting you know a man couldn't be promoted, and why. Something's wrong here, and I don't know what. It's been this way for me since day one! :nope:

You tried clicking on the medal? I think it then highlights the members that can get the medal?

drag ithe medal over and which ever crew your curser is over is the one that gets it

Thanks for the advice. I'll try your suggestions, and hope for the best. Very frustrating to say the least, especially when you don't know why! Thanks again;)

When you drag a medal over the crew area the eligible crew members get a white outline around them.

Make sure you drag the award over the LITTLE pic of the crewman, (it must have a THICK white border around it when you start to drag the medal, otherwise crewman is not eligable) It does no good to drag the medal to the larger, LOWER box with the crewmans stats in it....

When you first start dragging the medal, watch and see which of the LITTLE pics now has a THICK white border...THOSE are eligable for award...drag and drop.

Took me some grumbling to suss that one out.....
