I created a practice mission that simply has a variety of ships passing by so I can practice manual targeting. I played the other night and sunk a couple of ships. Today I sunk one small oiler and began working on the solution for the second ship coming up. I had just entered the AoB and I got the message "Ready to Launch Troops" and not knowing what else to do, I just clicked on "Postpone." Then I crashed to desktop. I opened the mission up in the editor to see if I accidentally made that an objective but nowhere did I implement that. It was all "Sink Tonnage," nothing else.
