The hydrophone wheel (at least in my IXC) spins much faster than before! I found it hard to stop it at the right bearing to hear what's going on outside. It is this a GWX (1.03) mod or due to having a faster computer? :hmm:

btw, v. 1.03 rawks!

You can lead it round 'bit by bit' by clicking on the secreen and dragging the pointer with your mouse :arrgh!:

Are you running Rubini's 16k mod? IIRC it has something to do with the improved hydrophone. There might be some discussion about it if you look in the 16k mod threads.

Yes, that's Rubini's 16k mod problem.:yep: It happened to me after Rubini's mod instalation. Except that bug, mod is great:up:

and @Kumando.

I don't think it's a bug, IIRC just unavoidable with adjustments made to increase hydrophone operator's effectiveness. I'm not sure if it can be tweaked to sweep more slowly and still have the same effectiveness with the operator, but have a look at the 16k mod threads, there could be something there about it. I just sweep using the dial instead of the wheel.

Well, I'm not unhappy with that. Thanks to 16 k mod my crew now is so efficient that I've almost stoped to use Hydrofon Station. By the way using it now, may improve my reflex

Moving the pointer with the mouse works. I'm still running the 8k mod in 16k GWX 1.03 and had no problems so far! <crosses fingers> :)

Hi guys,

So many time after my last post!
Hopes that all is going well for all!

Well, about the high speed wheel...this really is related with the more wakeful sonarman on the mod. IIRC I put a optional file with "a bit less quick wheel rotation" on the mod...take a look on the folders of the mod.:hmm:

Anyway, as any moder, I make some few adjusts over this matter for my own use after the mod release and I have and use a more slow wheel but yet a bit expert sonarman, working great too.;)

Regards,

Rubini.
