No, it isn't as far as I can tell.

I find no base on the map where it should be. The island is there so I
would assume it could be put in easy enough...

I already put a little one in my LOC. I was looking for pictures so I knew which port facility to drop on (most the the ports in game are rather too large I'm afraid). I'm looking through my old Army Air Force magazines (IMPACT) for BDA images of Truk right now.

There is a BattleofTruck.mis file in the campaign folder, but this is only for a narrow date window. Still should keep the contents of this in mind if you are going to add more to a different layer.

I'm just experimenting. The campaign has such little relation to history it needs to be scrapped and replaced, IMO.

I wish the missions ran in the background (then evolve the date) between patrols. Then I'd make every single IJN warship go where it really was for the whole war. Since the campaign isn't really dynamic, no dice though.

I wouldnt mind if there were a few more cities and towns modeled throughout the game, South East Asia and the Pacific seem to be remarkably uninhabited in this game.

It's a wierd mix, unfortunately. There are few villages to drop onto the map. Then there will be a HUGE port facility that is totally inappropriate. Even the "very small pacific port" is overly urban, IMO.
