First, I'd like to express once more that NYGM 2.2 is fantastic. I found myself wondering why my shoulders were aching - I discovered that it was from hunching up in anxiety while being pursued by escorts! Talk about immersion....
Ok, so back to the topic at hand. I've been playing with PT Boats. They're dangerous little buggers these days - fast, maneuverable, and those machine guns must be using AP shells because they'll tear up a U-Boat in no time if you let them get in close (I don't, thanks to "skeet" practice with the 37mm ;) ). Some questions though:
1. Do they ever fire their torpedoes? I seem to recall a note that they would, but I haven't seen a single launch despite several encounters, including one in which I kept the boat motionless just to test them.
2. How many depth charges do they really carry? I see four ash cans on the stern, but I could swear that I've counted 6-8 wabos in the water from a single PT Boat.
3. Who is driving the PT Boat? I see all the weapon stations manned, but no one is at the helm!
