Good tips, but they don't really answer my question.

Trev, here you can read here about probably the exact cause of infamous static destroyers in ports bug, if you haven't seen it yet...

You may find this info useful if wish to edit OHII portdefences layers sometime in future...

Hi Vecko

Yes - some good information here and when you add it to other issues, it starts to build a picture

Looping scripts.
When close to coast - DD will carry out their routines until a point where it should enter a loop switching from search to attack etc and it gets stuck

Also of the same loop type issue is the infamous DD following 20km behind you doing a large circle search pattern.

It looks like the AI is getting stuck when it should be switching up from search to attack or AI switching from goto to search to attack

I agree, but only when coastline is near...At open seas AI works just fine. Anyway, we probably cant do much about it without TDW...

Thanks Sjizzle
But sorry no I am not planning any updates to OHII.
I think that adding Monsun gruppe was such a bit project and look every spare minute of time I had, has left me reluctant to do another.
Then adding all the missions as radio messages for the MQK system was not enjoyable as all other modding jobs had been.

There is however still a lot I would love to add to OHII. A black sea campaign and a St Lawrence campaign is still something I think about

Sadly yes

I think there are other AI stick bugs, just not as obvious as the two I already mentioned.
The plane flying over without attacking bug - I am sure this plane want to go into attack mode but is stuck in search.

When AI uboots attack as wolfpack - the get stuck switch from evade to search to attack. You will see the just heading off in a straight line underwater.

Convoy AI also seems to get stuck switching tactics and just sail off in a straight line

That would be a dream

Since we are just daydreaming, may I add prequels and/or sequels to the Mediterranean and Arctic campaigns already featured in OHII?

Help solve the problem, the aim of the additional jobs are not visible on the map, when you click on the icon next to the job list additional quests map is centered on the job, but the icon is not there. I have to remember the designated area patrol. Sorry for my English

I have the same problem as well and my fact does not show allied or enemy territory in red or blue, but the ports are. Probably something to do with my mod load order :P

And does anyone know whether or not the number of historical ships are correct, i.e. say there are only 5 ships of this type built in real life and hence the same number in the game, as well as historical convoys, especially PQ 17?
