Get someone to ask you all the meals, in reverse order, that you've eaten for the last few days (about 4-5 usually does it).
You concentrate on thinking about what you've eaten and somehow they just disappear. My wife does it with the kids in her classes as school (she's a teacher - I'm not a pervert, well...) and they are always amazed it works. If you're on your own I don't know, sorry.

A hic up is a spasm of the diaphragm. Why do you have a spasm of the diaphragm? Because something in your body is telling/misstelling the diaphragm to spasm. One has to break the cause of the spasm.
Stand up and try to make yourself as tall as possible While taking deep breaths, try to suck in and then stick out your stomach as far as you can. Do this for about a minute. Yes it will look silly which is why you do it alone. Why would this work? 1. Standing up tall stretches the intercostal muscles. 2. Breathing deep expands and contracts the diaphragm to a different extent than normal breathing 3. Pumping your stomach in and out exercises the muscles that surround the diaphragm. All this serves to interrupt the nervous signals that is causing the hic ups. Think of it as sorta rebooting your diaphragm.
