Hi drakkhen20,

Wow, great job!
If it is possible to fix it, it would be great!

yes i noticed that two hours ago when i was comparing pics on my phone in a store, lol. i also have to get the grey to be alittle more white and touch up the tip of the bow. i took a break for today though. but all i have left is some rivet work and some exuast to do and some more touch ups along the sides. did you want a diffrent texture to the under side (keel and ballst tanks) or is this fine the way it is? btw on your signature where it says "My submarine" do you mean you serve abaord or you command it, just curious?

The more minor details, the better!

ok i was in a modding frenzy, i was in the zone and for absolutly no reason GIMP just decided to lock up. but i did get this far. dont mind the pocadots, its my technic to mapping which textures are used for what and in which spots. i did add more white moved the stern texture up and moved the bow texture too but it looks like its in the same spot. i was on the verge of adding texture to the exuast and blending things and then it locked up. so.... another day i will kick it in gear again.

I'm not much into this kind of enormous, imposing nuclear cigars of death, but still I must admit it appears to be GRAND. Fine looking boat, Sir.

Hitman,
no i've been getting alot of questions about it. i wouldnt call it my own mod by far it is not. its a mixture of alot of all or what i can get my hands on and i've been playing with the colors and have been touching up what i can. you can't swap files and cfgs from sh5 or sh4 into sh3 but if you dig into the files there are some images you can convert into tgas and i copy some numbers from here and there. i believe ive got all my colors the way i want them but theres little things i still have to learn and play with. the atlantic water has a green tint to it and the med has a dark bright blue to it and the arctic has about the same and when the weather picks up the waters change in color on the surface and some underwater. ive never served in any navy but ive worked offshe and you have plenty of time to stare at the water and i've seen some storms and currents bring in green to brownish black waters and on a perfect day it can be crystal blue. so i'm trying to simulate that and do some research on water itself and ive found out some cool stuff and found some color patterns that are based of that research. i have no release date only the info that im working on it between daily life and working on skins and learning how to mod and paint stuff it might be a awhile for it to be complete. i dont like releasing anything to anyone else until i know its done. sorry for the long explaination but thanks for asking.
