Default Q about navigation map contacts

On the navigation map, when you travel, you can see red contact marks which appear and then, slowly fade out with the time, to finally fully disappear.

Now, some of these contacts correspond to a radio message you received in the same time, when they appeared on the map. But, for the majority of them, you don't received any messages.

In "NewUIs & TDC" mod, TDW really take in account contacts which were reported to you by radio (TDW mod allow you to cancel time acceleration when contacts occur and provide more informations about them). Contacts with no radio messages are also reported by TDW mod, but with almost no informations. Moreover, they are totally ignored by the feature who cancel time acceleration. This seem to indicate that TDW "dont like very much" these kind of contacts. Maybe he consider them not realistic ?

My questions are:

1) To your opinion, are these contacts NOT reported by radio to your sub, just one more bug of the game, or there is a logical explanation to them ?

2) Is there a mod which allow to remove from the map all these contacts NOT reported by radio or the contrary, to make reported by radio ALL the contacts visible on the map, which seem logical to me (I can see them, so I was informed).

It's not a bug, it's a feature - I mean it, no joking here. The feature is ill-implemented and pretty useless, but it has nothing to do with bugs in TDW's mod.
