Default WAC3 or GWX ?

well, i am in the forum about one year now and one question is spinning around my mind till today.

where is GWX better than WAC ? as far i see , wac is better at all subjects.don't talk about environment becuase you can run any supermod you like with any environment you like.
about 16km at wac, this is not a problem because some tweaks needed at sensors and it will be ready.

for the people that will bother to reply ,i must say that i am assuming that we have a strong pc (becuase many times i have read that wac is heavy and gwx is better becuase can run at 'smaller' pcs)

i really don't understand this gwx-mania that there is in this forum
so ,the main question is : what is the best hit point of gwx that makes it better than wac ?

ps1: i haven't (yet ) play nygm or lsh3 to have an opinion.
ps2: this post is not posted for flames or loud voices or screamings.its for a building discusion and ,how knows, maybe its time for the ultimate supermod.meaning ...all the ships, all inside a campaign (merged campaigns of all supermods) .
the days of sh3 are running out(ubi will not repeat the same mistake with sh4,so i believe that when sh5 comes out you must say bye bye to sh3).its time to give it a final gift
ps3: i repear...no flames ,no fighiting ,no screamings !

You have answered your own question.

You try to sweep that issue aside but that's the main reason why people use GWX over many other supermods. The design of GWX is such that if you can run Stock 1.4b, you can run GWX. Any mod that allows the less fortunate, in terms of hardware owned, to play, is always going to be popular.

Building a supermod is not just about shiny high res graphics or the gameplay changes that it introduces, it's about finding new/unique ways to incorporate the best of the best whilst still allowing the community to enjoy your efforts.

Besides, most of the GW team had really sh*t PC's when they started building their original creation. Where's the fun in making something that you can't play.

Long Live GWX!

Sorry, there have been threads\polls\books and a yet to be released made for TV movie on this topic this before, with mixed results. But to be honest mostly negative ones. And I or most members here don't want to go there again. Maybe 5 years from now, but presently it is still to much of a hot potato.
