1.4b Assisted Plotting Mod in GWX?
Has anybody made it work in GWX 3?
The problem is that by setting Decay Time For Precise Sensor Contacts="0" as it is prompted, I have continues report of surface targets every 30seconds!!! If I reverse to "60" I have the ships icons on the navmap, which this mod supposes to erase with no map contacs update disabled keeping the sonar lines. Currently I am tweaking these lines: Contacts.cfg Decay Time For Imprecise Sensor Contacts=600 ;[>0] seconds Decay Time For Precise Sensor Contacts=60 Maps.cfg SymbolZoom=1;units are drawn as symbols from this zoom up GroupsZoom=100;units are drawn in groups from this zoom up Yet, nothing. 1. Any ideas maybe? 2. Is there a way to have "no map contancts update" disabled (nomatter about realism percent) but with ship's icons invisible but the hydrophone bearing lines there? Thank you and MARRY MARRY CHRISTMAS!

No, in GWX I didn't manage to make it work even by reverting the *_shp.TGA files to transparent, as a good friend suggested and uploaded also!. Even by doing this, the ships appear like tiny dots and I can't understand why.
However, in WAC it works PERFECTLY!

Is there any update on this ? I would very much like to get the assisted plotting mod to work with GWX 3.0, I find it gives me the level of situational awareness that I should expect from a trained U-Boat crew.

Uber Gruber, I'm glad you resurrected this thread as I somehow missed it.
I'm using the Assisted Plotting Mod with GWX3 with no problems, and have been since '3' was released. I even used the stock contact lines files so I still have the original sonar lines, but nothing else on the map. I don't know what the problem is that everyone else seems to be having.

@SailorSteve
Thanks for the positive reply Sailor, I don't suppose you could put your version up on filefront or BTS. Or did you simply tweak the files as suggested in earlier Assisted Plotting threads ? |

Okay, here is the Assisted Plotting mod the way I have it in my GWX3 setup:
http://files.filefront.com/14b+Assis.../fileinfo.html And here is the original version, in case the other one doesn't work for you: http://files.filefront.com/14b+Assis.../fileinfo.html [edit] I forgot: they should be JSGME-ready.
