e82 XXI Water Stream
evan82's XXI Water Stream
I finished water stream mod for the XXI Submarine. This is final version of this mod, with more water streams and few little fixes. Mod should be compatible with the Exhaust mod. This is very important change. I never asked for this, so this is main reason why I appreciate His help much more. Well, there is Wreford-Brown's XXI in 1939 mod that makes the XXI available starting in September 1939. This allows you to play through the entire war with the Type XXI or to choose it as an upgrade at any time during your career.
JScones even helped to fix the flotillas and patrol grid assignments so they work with the earlier dates. It may not be "historically accurate" but it does give you plenty of opportunity to use that cool sub!

I promise I will tell you, good or bad, how the XXI Water Streams works.
I think it is a great idea for you to mod the lighting inside the XXI. To my knowledge, only the IIA and IID have had mods released for the interior lighting. DivingDuck was the expert on modding the u-boat interiors but I have not seen him around in a long time. Perhaps his mods might help you to understand how to change the lights. Not many people wish to trouble themselves with fixing the XXI since it is so hard to get one and you can only sail a few patrols with the XXI before the war ends.

I have WB's XXI at start of war mod.
i am going to repack the black skin into that .dat so i can use the two together

Well fog parameters, bulb and interior light colors are optional and different in some mods. I can Made new skins. I can change some light parameters. I can transfer 3D objects between files in S3D. I also know how to remodeling 3D model a little, byt I don't know how to made a new 3D model from the begining for example. Looks like you're becoming the master modder for the type XXI, evan82!
![]() Those screenshots looks great! ![]() Cloning the bulb from the VII interior is genius! A simple, elegant solution to fixing that broken light. ![]() All the ways you know how to mod SH3 are exactly the same many experienced modders use, evan82. You have good skills. ![]() You will eventually learn how to create new 3D models. People like Tomi_099, privateer, iambecomelife, and VonDos can help you to learn. I wish I knew how to do all of that. ![]() Keep up the great work and thanks for the link to the XXI Open Hatch mod! ![]()
