Default German to ijn torpedoes

Hello,
I've been playing for a couple days now with a ixd2 sub euipped with german torpedoes that have the effeciency of the japanese ones at the time, and I still don't understand why the japs didn't make more of theirs subs given the excellent weapon they had. My next goal is to make a new torpedo that could be used on the german side along with the german torpedoes, so that when our Jyunsen B sub is ready she will have her own torps !
I hope in the meantime you enjoy this mod, sunk a King George Battleship in Freemantle from 11000 yards yesterday... Keltos01

Japanese aerial torpedo type 97 was an excellent weapon compared the USN's early torp models
Japanese "Long lance"-610 mm torpedo was a superb weapon , but it could be used only by cruisers and modern DD

But, to be honest, i dont know any detail about the 533 jap torpedo... ...it was used in all the submarines and older destroyers, but I cannot compare it with the german G7 model

Post some descriptions

What were the specs of the IJN steam torps?

Default new version of german to ijn torpedoes

I modified the file according to the latest info from takao and removed the speed 30kts/18000yards

The type I luft I is the type 95 ijn

the typeIII luft II is the type 96 ijn (larger warhead/shorter range)

All the electric have the specs of the type 92

see the readme for the changes from stock game

http://hosted.filefront.com/keltos01/

also added a 9D2 sub with the specs from www.combinedfleet.com Jyunsen B , I modified the displacement, speed, horsepower, range of the 9D2 to make it feel like a ijn Jyunsen B. couldn't remove the aft tubes and still need to add 2 upfront and change the conning to make it look more like a J B but still, for me it does the trick for now.

it really changes the feeling, just try and crash dive ! did I say crash ? more like southern drawl...

put a new file up for download, it should also change the displayed name of the torp.

you now have the following types (us side only for now)
type 92
type 92 accoustic
type 95 model 1
type 95 model 2 (shorter range greater punch)
type 96 (same punch as 95 model 2 but shorter range, uses 30% o2 instead of 100%)
