The 1.4 compatible version of the latest Real Fleet Boat Get it from Filefront at http://hosted.filefront.com/RealFleetBoat/ Since a large number of sounds were added, this is a 256MB download! This is an announcement thread, do not post issues here as we're requesting it be locked! New version numbering RFB releases will now be RFB 1.4 and the release date, or RFB 1.5 and the release date Date is in the MM.DD.YY format This release is Real Fleet Boat 1.4 03.10.08 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you read nothing else, PLEASE READ THIS SECTION!! **** This is not compatible with the U-Boat add-on**** The 1.5 release will be worked on now that the 1.4 release is done. This is compatible with stock, ROW, Pacific environment, and W_clears environment mod. No reason to download separate versions. Installation notes: When you extract this, 2 folders will appear in JSGME, The RFB mod and an RFB zones folder. Activate AFTER the older ROW filesif you use them or you will lose the changes to the boats. Compatible with Natural Sinking Mechanics for 1.4- ACTIVATE AFTER NSM- Needed changes in files are included in RFB, so it can overwrite NSM files without corrupting NSM. If you don't use NSM or ROW/PE, you will need to activate the RFB zones file folder! Activate Run Silent Run Deep AFTER Real Fleet Boat. So the install order would be ROW files NSM RFB RSRD Some of the Key commands have changed from stock- Download the RFB key command changes file to see the changes. We are working on a keyboard layout you can download and print out. There is a black bar on the right side of the crew management screen. This was a side effect of getting all of the crew members to appear on the screen for boats with increased complement. We're trying to find a way to correct this. Nice work on this guys. The number of things that have been fixed up that no-one would normally notice is staggering. Subtle sound changes, readable and working instruments, and thats only the things I saw without combat! Those on 1.4 will love it. It's like a submarine simulator without a heap of faults, very clean
