Note: This mod is not compatible with U-Boat missions expansion.

I'd like to point out that this mod is not compatible with the u-boat mission expansion, I don't have the expansion and don't know when I will be able to get it so I won't be able to update it until then. DasLeakin has notified me of this incompatibility and has a fix for it as well, here is what he told me;

I don't have access to those files so I can't fix the problem myself but you are welcome to edit yourself if you are interested in using this mod.

Do you find yourself conducting a lot of night attacks? Wll this mod pack consists of; dark Trigger Maru style recognition manual(original manual by OakGroove), darker radio message screen, darker commander log, and night attack chrono. All perfect for night attacks so that no longer will you have to re-adjust your eyes to the darkness after you have looked at your recognition manual, clock, new mission radio message, or captains log; this will save you valuble seconds while you plot the demise of that juicy boat floating helplessly infront of you.

How to Install:
-Extract to MODS folder in C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 4 Wolves of the Pacific\MODS
-Run JSGME
-Select Night_Attack and press "enable selected mod" arrow.
-Install after any mod that changes any of the above mentioned items.

That is pretty nice. Nothing worse then a glare of some sort when doing a night surface attack, its really distracting.

Thanks for the comments. These are my first mods, I thought I'd start simple and just texture and skin until I get the hang of all the files and stuff. I'll do that reallydedpoet, thanks for the tip.
The screenshot for the darker radio message is now up. That's a custom name and number for my sub if anybody wounders how I got that name, yeah yeah it never really existed so sue me. :p I believe there was a SharkII though so it's not too unrealistic.
Does anybody know how to change the texted used in the captains log? The titles for the first and last tab have white shadows and are really bright at night and I'd like to change the shadows to a darker colour. Any help would be apprectiated.

Does this affect these items all the time, or only when the "night-time Red mask" is active?? AS i would find these too dark during the day.

@Kaleun: This effects them all the time. Is it possible to make it so that different textures are used when it's night? Because that would be a great idea if it's possible.

Can we get mirrors for files and put them on RapidShare.com?

I don't know what is blocking me, but I can't access files on FileFront no matter how many scripts or spam I allow. Maybe it is because I use a download accelerator?

...It works fine the only glitch I ran into was the status and contact report buttons were missing from the capt's log. What I had to do was remove the capts panel image from data and replace it with the directdraw surface image and the truevision targa image from the addon...

I don't have access to those files so I can't fix the problem myself but you are welcome to edit yourself if you are interested in using this mod.

I happen to find this very looking good mod that Thendash has creaated
