Default [REL] UPDATE Pacos German Folklore SubEmblems Mod

JAU - Just Another Update.

From the readme.txt:

Pacos German Folklore SubEmblems Mod V1.2 - nov 2007
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Adds 10 new emblems to "SilentHunterIII\data\Emblems\SubEmblems.

The emblems are:

Name Variations
--------------------------------------
Struwwelpeter (4)
Max und Moriz (1)
Mecki (2)
Fips (1)
Frau Holle (1)
Rotkaeppchen (1)

Install:

Drop into your MODS folder and activate via JSGME.

Ok, You don't use JSGME, copy the TGAs into the
"SilentHunterIII\data\Emblems\SubEmblems" folder.

Mod-Historie:

2007-10-30 V1.0 released as Pacos Struwwelpeter SubEmblems
2007-11-11 V1.1 renamed to Pacos German Folklore SubEmblems Mod
added the Max und Moritz
2007-11-22 V1.2 added the Meckies, Fips der Affe, Frau Holle and
Rotkaeppchen

Don't know his full name, but he's a hedgehog / mole / womble sort of creature, that my mum is almost obsessed with.

Mecki the hedgehog was a figure in the 1930´s who was planted on postcards and other things. Everyone knows the story about the rabbit and the two hedgehogs?

In 1946 Mecki awards a big promotion: he became the mascott of the german tv-magazine HÖRZU. Many books and story´s are written about him.

Nice gimmicks,
what about Rotkäppchen und der böser Wolf (Little Red Riding Hood und the evil (grey) wolf) ? Might be a good relation to the game .

I really liked Mecki from the first day on. My grandfather´s bookshelf contained some books from and with Mecki.

hm, wikipedias says, that Mecki begun in the 30th on postcards and in comic-films

But you are right, he became famous with the Hörzu-paper in the 50th.

My father complains that these paintings are not historical

Last time i saw him practicing at SH3 - Marineschule.....THAT was surely not historical.

I like the fact that you related them to German. Well done matey, there needs to way more emblem mods way more......now that's an idea :hmm:
