Default SCX3

Subcommand still has a lot of life left in it and a lot o potential.Would anybody be interested in producing an SCX3 mod?

What else could it entail apart from more playable SSGN and SSBN's?

That is a good question Kap.
I believe that an evaluation needs to be made of everything that is wrong with SCXIIc.This will need to be corrected.
A study will then need to be made of items incorporated in to the gameplay of DW that users would like to see in SC.
I am led to believe that Dw has a different game engine to SC.This again could be changed.A Lwami type mod could be introduced to address this.
Sc is a a submarine game so problems with the skimmer and aerial platforms could be ignored.
If DW had never happened where would we be today?I believe the modding team would have kept going and we would have a superior and enjoyable game.

Not so sure of that. Thomasew was the SCX project leader and he hasn't posted here for years, long before DW arrived. There were many others involved who did the models etc who also are not active anymore. I think Xabbarus is the only original SCX member who is still active here. So I think it is wishful thinking to say that they would have carried on and improved SC further if DW hadn't come on the scene.

Thomasew has gone, don't know where but gone.

So have most the others. I have retired from model making for now. Too much RL stuff to deal with.

Deep Six gave me the rights to his models and I say here that if anyone wants to further mod Sub Command you are welcome to use my models from SCX and the ones Deep Six made, just make reference to where they came from.
As for the SCX database. I can't really see there being any harm in taking it a step further. As long as credit is given where due to the original creator.

As for SCU you would need to get in touch with jsteed for his input on that if you wanted to get another playble.

That's what I think

Despite those legal illegal thing, technically, I do think SCX still a promising choice
