Default [REL] Improved Gun and Explosion Sounds

Improved Gun and Explosion Sounds for SH4, Version 1.0

-DESCRIPTION:

This mod replaces many of the rather weak stock explosion and weapon sounds in SH4 with sounds taken and adapted from the WWII FPS Red Orchestra. Deck gun and flak sounds are now improved, along with sound of airplane explosions and shells hitting a target. This mod works with all versions of the game.

-ISSUES:

I wanted to make the deck gun sound louder, but this proved to be impossible without distorting the sound. In addition, the shell impact explosion is ever so slightly cut off right at the end.

-INSTALLATION:

JSGME ready. For manual installation, extract to /Data/Sound

Gonna give this a try immediately. Red Orchestra has one of the best sound effects ever!

No, unfortunately I don't. I don't even know how to open and edit that file!
