Default [REQ] Realistic Battery life mod for 1.3

Could anyone make this great mod compatible for 1.3 and release it? There still seems to be problems with the original mod when applied to 1.3 and there is no update that I know of. Thanks.

bump...I was just looking for something like that

The underwater range at 3 knots seems way too short, just like in the original unpatched version (the endurance should be around 24 hrs, IIRC).

You can do it yourself easy using MiniTweaker program.... you only need to edit the electric propulsion range.

If you dont know how to do, i can upload muy sub .sim files for you if you want.

Stock settings stablish the max range at 2knt, if you run at 3knt, your range will be reduced.

That would be great, as long as they are from 1.3 patched game--I want to avoid undoing anything that the devs changed in patch.

I just spent an hour or so doing it myself but my changes don't seem to be taking effect--I don't know why. And, yes, I did remember to remove the "copy of..." files so the tweaked file takes effect...just isn't working for some reason.

I also, for other reasons, tried to tweak the AI_sensors.dat file but the minitweaker came up with meaningless numbers...like maybe we need new tweak files for 1.3?

All very confusing and frustrating :hmm:

EDIT: it has already been confirmed that AI_sensors.dat tweak file isn't working, I just did a search

You can tweak the ai_sensors.dat with Silent3ditor without any problems. And it is really easy to use.

yes bad news... it seems to not works. But i remember it works in previous versions...

The sub maintain reduced range,may be stock value, and plus in km not in nautical miles.

I have adjuste 130 into gato files. And it runs 93km submerged at battery off.
