That's funny. Sorry about the mistake. Reminds me of one time I was in a bar on Long Island, one patron, after making fun of the way I talked, asked me where I was from. I told her "Missouri," and she asked "isn't that by California?" I replied, "yes ma'am."

Hasn't anyone told them that HMS Eagle sailed out of New York decades ago? Or where they heading for the Queen Mary to strike a blow in the name of American independence? :hmm:

Good reconstruction of the Turtle though, I hope they release footage of the inside.

More pix plus video. Amazing. These three fellas are in big trouble.

“All three males are expected to be charged with a number of violations and both vessels will be secured by the Harbor Unit,” the NYPD said.

More like Sinn Fein and the IRA. Remember them?

And since they were close to a Brithish flag ship......doesn't take much to put two and two together.

Think the inflatable that was with it gave the terrorist operation away? Politicians! Can't do a thing right.

I think, unlike the islamists, the Irish know that there aren't 72 virgins waiting for them and don't have a death wish for themselves. An escape route is part of the planning. Thus the inflatable.

Perhaps that inflatable did give them away. I wasn't there and don't know.

I would think that if it was a terrorist attack a scuba outfit with some plastique would serve much better then a hand cranked submarine with a hand cranked drill. I would also suspect that if it was a serious plot that the NYPD would be crowing about how a diligent officer thwarted a plot to sink the Queen Mary and I also suspect that the IRA would not do anything in America to cause ire with the government or risk alienating any purse strings that the Sinn Fein and the IRA have over here.

OK, so it was a wakeup call. Why didn't these three tell someone (a news agency perhaps) about the 'turtle'?

Apparently the coast guard had previous dealings with them and their boat. They also have a website:
