[REL] Gato skin with / without sub number V1.1
Because there are no hi-res skins at this moment.. I used the last 2 nights to built a much cleaner less weathered skin. This downloads has 2 versions.
One with sub number 101 (no other numbers can be done yet because of mirror images). The other one without the numbers. Hope you like it Download link Gato 1.1 http://www.megaupload.com/nl/?d=7F8WAYAU Last edited by FooFighters; 04-02-07 at 12:00 PM. Reason: Update V1.1 |

Lucky 101 is 101 backwards lol. If I try to put 201 on my hull its backwards on the otherside
Great looking skin! What font did you use for the numbers?

Sweet skin mate. I installed it and it has the number on my hull. How do I get the skin without the number?

That's the number of USS Pompano, Perch class, and it is with that sub and number how the "Pacific Aces" mod for SH2 started already a long time ago In SH2 we also had the same "mirroing" problem and were initially limited also to the only two US sub models in SH2/DC, Perch and Tambor. Given the hull numbers available, Pompano was obviously spot on. Oh, and I almost forgot: Boats were painted light grey only in late war. But your skin is very nice!

LOL.. I am now making a skin for Balao. And I wanted to add 181 to that sub until other numbers can be used.
About the light grey. Those are the only color pictures I can find as example for the boat.. I someone has a nice picture or drawing in color, I can try changing the skin color. |

Great job, downloading now.
As for the hull numbers, I guess I wasn't the only one hoping and praying that we'd get the correct hull number automatically printed on the boat like in Destroyer Command. Oh well, perhaps someday... |
