USS Thresher (SS-200) Skin
Made by Captain Cox

Lighter Gray upper and Black Hull.

The early version (1942-43) might not be historically correct, but I throw that in all the same.

This is a graphic skin mod for the Tambor-Class submarine in SH4
Its based on photos of the SS-200
For reference see:

This Mod contains 2 skins, one for the earlier version of the Tambor-Class 1942.
And one for the later version 1944-45
Install:
Simply use with JSGME

Gorgeous work Captain Cox!

My sub, USS Triton, was also a Tambor class sub. Do you have any idea when (time frame) they painted the upper hull dull grey and the lower dull black? Early war documentation I came across for my sub suggested that she remained all black for most the early war. I'd like to make a skin for my sub too that fits in historicaly aswell. Maybe the Thresher was painted when it deployed to the pacific and the Triton followed suit? I can only come across two photos of my sub, one in 1940 whilst training in the carrib. where she is all black and one in July 1942 where she might had a similar paint scheme to your early war skin of the Thresher.
