Default Here's how to remove the non-functional sea plants and sea bed rocks...

Here's how to remove the non-functional sea plants and sea bed rocks eyecandy:

Just move to different directory or delete the Undersea.dat file located in your SH4 data/library folder. I have noticed higher framerates after they are removed. The seafloor will be sandy after removal. It just looks better in my opinion. Yes, the game will run smoother and still work as normal.

**Edit** Sorry about that.. it's the undersea.dat. file.

I like those but I don't have a problem with them on.

Good advice for people trying to save some fps though.

I wonder if there is a similar way to "kill" all of the dockside personnel, could help the port frame rates, which are pretty dire on my mid-range system?

I assume it only impacts FPS if you are using an external view?

yep, doesn't work.
and fps (at least on my rig) doesn't appear to be affected by its presence one way or the other.

Yep your right, I just renamed it and I still have vegitation...

You have to move the file out of the directory altogether or delete it.

I recomend moving it since you will probably return it if it doesnt help fps.
(it didnt on my machine)

That is the strangest thing, I cant believe renaming it doesnt work...
These devs are crazy !
