Adjustment of the draggable chronometer position.

Hi, for those, like me, who like to have a clear screen & always have to move the chronometer out of view then do this:
open the menu_1024_768.ini file and do a search for chronometer.tga, you should get the block as below (only part shown):

Name=Dial
Type=1031;Stat bmp array
ItemID=0x3FF00000
ParentID=0x3F000000
Pos=100,997,194,230
Materials=1
Display=0;No stretch
Mat 0=data/menu/gui/Chronometer.tga

Change this line:

Pos=100,970,194,230
to:
Pos=100,997,194,230

Now when you start the game the meter is just out of site, just place the mouse cursor in the usual position at far top and drag it down.
Cheers.

Nice Reece.

Would you happen to know the correct co-ordinates to put the Chrono on the right edge of the screen, just under the draggable protractor in the nav map, maybe just sticking out a bit?

This would be the ideal position for me.

Thanks in advance.

Reece,

Thanks a lot!

I was always having to move it a bit from its default location.

Danlisa,

To move the chrono to the right edge -- in the menu_1024_768.ini file change the position as follows:

[G3F I293]
Name=Dial
;Pos=80,990,214,248 ; Default position for GWX 1.02.
Pos=1010,697,214,248 ; Move Chronometer to extreme right of screen.

Nav map should look like this when finished. Notice Chronometer barely visible at extreme right.

Thanks again for a great find Reece.
