SHO Merchant Traffic

Should I patrol real close to Brittains coast to come across merchant traffic? It is September 1939.
The reason I'm asking is that I've been patrolling my Assigned areas for 20 days and haven't even seen a fishing boat not to mention any merchants. So I'm thinking that maybe I should venture to say within 20 to 30 kilometers to the coast. But I'm not sure if that would be to far away from my patrol area. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Bandit, Est or West English coasts, you should encounter boats (not necessary ennemies though) within at least 100km.
Navigating along those coasts zigzagging and heading North/South should do it
Never waited more than 3 days...

Fifi, Thank you bud I did some patrolling and eventually found some merchants. I guess I was getting antsy to fire some fish! Haha. I'm really starting to like this mod more and more every day. It really makes you think like a real Kapitain would of during the War!

My boat is lying low in the water after having installed this mod. Why? I have several TDW mods aswell and use the UHS version compatible with those mods. Please help

This mod is rather old and outdated... It's not advisable to use it with the newest modlists IMO...
